It was a beautiful Friday evening; the sun was setting here in Chinatown LA; as I walked through the block, I visited many beautiful places. I cross the street and see a huge sign, “Eastern Projects,” with some seemingly interesting and ethereal art on display. My joy continued as I noticed that the door was wide open, calling for new visitors to enjoy some art and air condition. As I stepped in the door, I kid you not; I received the loudest “WE ARE CLOSED” from the back of the store. A lumberjack had seemed to make this place his screaming chamber where he sits in the corner and waits for people to walk in to scream at them they are not welcome. Lumberjack guy, I hope you see better days and that you don’t cry so loud to yourself in your mind. I know that chopping trees is a tough experience at times but hopefully you can tone it down a notch when you are in your beloved art gallery.

The space itself is just standard gallery space, but it's easy to find, it has cutting edge shows, and it's mere feet away from a lot of good food.
