Hillside O'Malley is the church I grew up in, was baptized at and the place I attend whenever I'm home for the holidays. (They usually have a great Christmas program!)
The church is spacious and has Saturday morning Sabbath school classes for children of various ages as well as a couple for adults. The atmosphere is pretty welcoming and laid back for the most part and many of the members here are genuine, caring and interested in outreach. During the winter they have a potluck lunch on the 1st Sabbath (Saturday) of each month and during summer potluck is served weekly. Several members also attend the weekly walk/ hike post lunch in various locations around and near Anchorage. Lastly, there's a weekly Wednesday evening Bible study.

Great folks, but please note this is not a church, but the office that coordinates the ministry of many churches all across Alaska. Reviews that reference church services are likely for the Hillside O’Malley Seventh-day Adventist Church, which is right next door.

When I went there for the sole purpose of Communion I was gangstalked. Anchorage Alaska is the worst city in all of the United States.
