I want to start off by saying that my husband is a platinum ambassador member. I absolutely love this hotel. It’s beautiful. It’s clean and the staff like Ariel and Maria make it worth our stay. But for my most recent booking, I booked a room with breakfast included. Despite mentioning that we will have three guests In our reservation The breakfast only includes two guest. Also, what they failed to mention is that the hotel automatically charges 18% gratuity on top of your “free“ breakfast. On our first Day, my husband and I ordered breakfast for ourselves and for our child. We had to pay for the breakfast for our child and we ended up paying over $35 in fees. The next day it was the same thing. We ended up paying over $45 between the automatic gratuity and the fees. I would never recommend anybody booking any package with breakfast included, regardless if it’s through the hotel or a third party. Even one of the employees at the front desk said to me “that’s how they get you , you think you’re getting a “free” breakfast but you end up paying over $25-$45 in fees alone .” So essentially, breakfast was NOT free. It ended up costing more than we would have paid if we ate outside the hotel.

I sincerely felt compelled to write this honest review. I love my stay here. The staff has been nothing less than excellent and the building is the standard of clean and comfortable. The real reason I was inspired to write this review is because of your exemplary employee Gabriel P! Originally, he was kind enough to help me with my bags and was very professional and well mannered. But what really left a great impression was when Gabriel went above and beyond to go back to the room not once but twice to make sure that not only I had all of my possessions that I left but my dogs medicated food out of the locked fridge as well! His pace and thoughtfulness was nothing short of admirable and he deserves recognition for that. I see a bright future for this young man as I see a solid foundation of fundamentals that make a strong leader and someone that is dependable. Looking forward to coming back and would recommend to anyone considering!

This hotel knocked it out of the park. It was luxurious from start to finish. The staff was amazing. Quick service when you needed something sent to the room. The restaurants were delicious, the resort fees came with perks at the bar, the gym was the best hotel gym I have ever been to. I came in December so did not experience the pool but heard it was a heated pool. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were of great quality. The views from this place made the whole trip worth it.

Traveling with my family during the holiday, this was a wonderful place to stay. We used points to upgrade to the club lounge and this gave us access to breakfast, snacks, and an evening reception. In addition to a very spacious room with tables and comfortable chairs and couches. This extra space gave us the ability to be out of our room but still in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

I had a fantastic experience at the InterContinental Downtown LA, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by the bell desk staff, Richard and Sergio. They went above and beyond in managing our conference packages, handling both the arrival and shipping without us being present. Their professionalism, efficiency, and friendly demeanor made the entire process stress-free. We were truly grateful for their invaluable assistance. I love staying at the intercontinental Los Angeles. Staff is so welcoming and hotel is clean and well managed. Check in and check out was amazing especially with Angel helping us from start to finish. She was so bubbly and helpful. It made my husband and my experience amazing. We grew up in Los Angeles and came to visit the city and she made our trip great. The hotel is close to all downtown landmarks and if you want to venture out it is close to art district, echo park, Chinatown, and art district. Highly recommended!
