Honestly, I can overlook certain faults but for the money I paid, the experience was quite disappointing. I had high expectations as it’s a 4-star hotel and enjoyed my experience at the Hotel Indigo in Dubai. However, when I first checked-in, my initial room was dirty. There were stains all over the sofa and smudges on the tables. The split AC was tilted on one side like it was going to fall and was making some noise. The bed was made though. This was a corner king suite room. I immediately went back to the front desk telling them about the situation and wondering if I can get a refund or be moved to another room. Lawrence at the front desk was nice enough to show me two more rooms. He also said that it’s normal wear and tear of the sofas that explains the stains. I’m still not convinced. I finally chose a room on the 16th floor. It was acceptably clean with no issues the first night. The next morning, I was surprised to see dried stains on the bedding on the other side of the bed which I have not used. It’s almost like the bedding was cleaned and all but the stain couldn’t be removed. I reported it and they took action.
The shower wasn’t all cleaned well either.
In addition, the front desk staff, majority of them looked miserable and had no level engagement with me, barely smiling and not willing to go above and beyond. Even at the dining area during breakfast, there are areas on the floor that were wet and not cleaned even if I pointed it out to the team. There was also no shuttle service available. Breakfast was not bad but definitely overpriced. I’m not sure if the recent political climate and protests that shortly occurred prior to my stay sort of influenced the quality of work the hotel staff provided. Very subpar service and will definitely not stay in this hotel in downtown LA again.

Staff was great at check-in as a platinum member through their rewards program. I got a room upgrade, which is also always appreciated. They have a place downstairs where your DoorDash can drop off deliveries and food. Temperature control in the room was great room was spacious overall no complaints decent location, centrally located

Really nice downtown hotel option, valet parking is a bit pricey but you have a parking lot just across the street and Spot Hero will do the work if you don't to pay for extra. Very nice breakfast, steak option was really nice, same as avocados. Everything walking distance if you want to explore some city getaways. Shopping available, grocery store is walking distance for some refreshments or anything more. I would love to come back! Great staff, great service, location and nearby to airport.

Stayed here for a staycation with my lady. Absolutely need to shout out Q at the front desk, Jared at the downstairs bar, and Brenda at the bar upstairs—they were all extremely professional and their hospitality made us feel so welcome. Our room was beautiful; definitely spring for the corner room upgrade. My only gripe was the room service and hospitality was hard to get a hold of via the phone in the room. Highly recommend staying here for an event at Crypto arena. Also the breakfast at the restaurant is excellent— get the breakfast croissant sandwich.

First impressions of the hotel were very nice, the person checking us in was extremely friendly. We had a slight issue with airconditioning and it was sorted quickly. The location is perfect if you want to be near LA Live and it was in a safe area.

I’m writing this review regarding my mom’s stay at this hotel on December 2024. She was initially assigned a room that was shockingly untidy, with visible wear and tear on the furniture and a damaged headboard crudely concealed with pillows.
After she raised a complaint, she was moved to another room, which, while slightly better, still had stains on the closets, showing that cleanliness is clearly not a priority for this establishment. One day when she went to get breakfast, she was told she would have to wait an hour for service , an absurd delay for something as simple as breakfast. Frustrated she had to leave without eating. Finally, on her last night. She needed to weigh her luggage and approached a hotel employee named "Nicky" to ask for assistance. His response was downright unprofessional and rude, he claimed it wasn’t his responsibility, then covered his ears with his hands and repeatedly said, “I can’t hear you, I can’t hear you!” before threatening to call security to escort her out. This behavior was beyond disrespectful and left my mom shocked and deeply upset.
Hearing about her experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone not even my worst enemies. The lack of cleanliness, the poor service, and the blatant disrespect from staff make it clear this place is unfit for guests.

I recently visited the location to attend a Jelly Roll concert! There were great things about the hotel, such as housekeeping, staff at the front desk and the amenities.

The things I encountered that I believe should be looked at, are room cleanliness. You could tell the room had not been properly cleaned in a minute. There was soo much dust built up. The sink in the bathroom was full of hair. It took a good second for water to drain. Lastly, the water pressure. There was really no water pressure at all. It took me a minute to wash my hair because of it! The water also did not get very warm.

Overall, it was a good stay with a comfy bed! If the few things got looked at and were improved the hotel would be top notch! I would recommend this to friends and family! But for the price some things could have been better!

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Indigo. The room was beautiful with an amazing view of downtown LA. Housekeeping was great. They routinely kept the room clean and stocked each day. Every single employee I encountered was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant and bar on the main level along with the food and beverages served in the pool area were very convenient. Room service was quick, which was a nice touch. I took away one star due to the hidden fees that show up on your bill during checkout.
