The only reason I’m leaving a review is because of the exceptional service by Marietta and Veronica. They are superstars!! Especially Marietta, she made our stay so special by being so attentive to our needs. They deserve a RAISE!! I would only come back for Marietta’s outstanding service. Other than the breakfast ladies, the hotel was good, it was somewhat renovated so it wasn’t as outdated as some of the other hotels we found in LA. I feel like this hotel is understaffed. We asked for a microwave to our room because we have little kids, and they couldn’t provide one so that was disappointing. The parking fee is also ridiculously expensive $45/night. The location of the hotel is good though. Overall, Marietta was the saving grace for this hotel. GIVE HER A RAISE!!!!

When we went to Los Angeles we stayed here for a few nights and it was wonderful. The sheets and the pillows were so comfortable. They also offered extra items like toothpaste, toothbrush etc. in case you forgot. For breakfast, they varied in options and things were made fresh daily. They had a self working pancake maker, eggs, cereal, bakery items, and more! Veronica and Marietta run the breakfast area and are wonderful, they are always walking around cleaning tables and are available if you need help with anything! I would definitely recommend coming to this hotel if you are visiting Los Angeles 😊

My husband and I stayed in a suite and thought the room was okay. We had a king bed and sitting area with a TV in each. The entry is on the side where the valet is located whether you have a car or not. The man there greeted us warmly every time we came and wished us well every time we left. Rooms here, like many hotels, are only serviced upon request.
The pool is open to the elements, so December wasn't warm enough for us to swim, but it was open and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff there was welcoming. Shout out to Marietta! You'll find different egg selections every day, as well as pancakes, bagels, bread, and fresh hot cinnamon rolls. Apples, oranges, bananas, oatmeal, and yogurt are also available.
The location is one block to the Walk of Fame and fun things there. There is a grocery/beer and wine store across the street which is also convenient. The hotel is clean, but the streets are a bit dirty and there are unfortunate, homeless people very nearby, but none approached us while we were walking to and from the hotel during our three-day stay.

Great location. Less than 10mins Lyft ride to universal studios and walking distance to Hollywood Blvd. HIX is always clean and convenient with breakfast included. ||||The ladies at the breakfast bar were excellent. They are friendly and kept the area well maintained. It is the cleanest breakfast area out of all the HIX we've been staying throughout our trip. ||||The front desk and valet were helpful when we needed them as well. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Clean hotel inside and out. Great continental breakfast items are always full and tables cleaned. Valerie is friendly and helpful in the breakfast area. Valet service is top notch and fast and they keep an eye on their people and vehicles staying at the hotel. We go to this place every year and the valet staff always remembers us, especially Milton. Security cameras for safety and room key to get in hotel and up to room. The area is well lit and close to The Bowl and Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Great staff, clean hotel and rewards keep us coming back. Highly recommend!

We stayed here mid December 2024. The rooms & bathrooms were very clean. We have no complaints at all. I would stay here again and would recommend to other people. Pool area was very well kept and water was clear. The best part would have to be the continental breakfast. I've stayed in other hotels before and have never looked forward to breakfast as much as I did here. The staff in the breakfast area, Marieta & Veronica, were very sweet and friendly.

Stayed here one night as base camp for hiking the Hollywood Hill/Mt Lee. Location isn't far from Griffith Park or Lake Hollywood Park as a trail start. Staff were nice and room was clean. Bed was super comfy!
Good sushi place across the street, you can walk to. Street is busy but there's a stoplight with crosswalk right there. I was here in December and walked by myself for dinner in dark (between 6pm-8pm) with no concern for safety as there were quite a few people walking.

We stayed here while sightseeing LA. The room we clean, modern, with all the amenities needed for us. The breakfast was amazing! The staff even encouraged us to take snacks for later! They even gave us doggy bags! Would definitely recommend!
