in the 4 yrs i’ve lived on edwards afb they never have any of my prescriptions ready the same day. i normally have to wait 2-3days. then you are expected to call atleast 3-4 times to remind them to fill or transfer a prescription over. this is not the place to fill your prescription if you need it asap. you are better off going to palmdale/ lancaster. the drive to lancaster/palmdale it takes less time then waiting for your prescription to be filled at this pharmacy.

Great experience! Didn’t know where the pharmacy/radiology was but it’s in the big main building 😂 Got there at 8am and only waited about 15 minutes for labs

it can be very difficult to get someone on the phone, appointment times don’t really mean anything so be prepared to wait well past your appointment time even if you get there early, the clinic has extremely limited resources so most things have to be done off base.

All this being said, the people that work at the lab are OUTRAGEOUSLY good at their jobs and absolutely saved this clinic from getting a one star review from me! If I could rate them separately from the hospital they would easily get 5 stars; in almost 30 years I have never had such a good experience with lab work let alone multiple stellar experiences. I am so incredibly impressed and thankful to have such talented people so close by to do lab work. Highly recommend getting labs done on base, even if basically everything else has to be done off base.

If only I could give them zero stars. This place isn’t what it used to be. My son and I used to receive some of the best care from his pediatrician Doctor Garcia, my pcm and a great team of ancillary providers. Now they schedule and can’t follow through with appointments because they don’t know how to block schedules properly even though we all know it’s the holidays. They can’t label and send lab specimens properly or report accurate results. If you try to get immunizations for children after appointments they will sit around and talk about their personal life for 20 minutes then tell you they can’t see you because they’re too busy. The incompetence and disregard for quality health care is unbelievable here. Do yourself a favor and find an off base clinic until 412 can it together.

Went to my son's 15 month checkup today. They said they called me three times to reschedule his appointment, however I never received a phone call, and the right number was on file so its leading me to believe they lied about calling. Proceeded to wait 1 HOUR past his appointment time and then left because he never was seen. They then told my husband they couldn't see him and that it would be considered a "no show appointment" and we'd have to reschedule. NEVER HAVE I EVER received such horrible care from ANY medical facility. I'm literally just trying to make sure my son is receiving proper medical attention and I get blown off like it's not important. Now I have to wait for an appointment a month from now because they have no availability. The negligence that I dealt with today has completely blown my mind. I wish I knew how to file a complaint because this is just downright unprofessional and inappropriate.

Appointments are absolutely ridiculous, back offices rarely pick up phones. If you need prerequisites prior to surgery they won't send documents in time. Seek outside medical if you want an accurate diagnosis. ENSURE you let them know EXACTLY what labs are needed and then tell them again!!! TERRIBLE front desk workers for family practice! Team Edward's needs to get their stuff together! Complete disappointment to military and family members!!! I haven't even got to mention how many days out of the year they are closed for "training". You would imagine they should all they there doctorate degrees by now.

Had a follow up appointment for a Emergency Room visit for gallstones. My appointment was at 10:45am. Wasn't called back till 11:20am. Spoke to nurse took vitals. Nurse left and waited for Doctor. Time is now 12:30pm. I left because I found it ridiculous waiting that long to see any doctor. Horrible service. I have never seen any doctor at this clinic. Last year had a horrible cough not once did i see a doctor. They referred me to the urgent care in Rosamond. So sad to have a clinic and not be seen by your PCM.

The hours need to be adjusted. They host “training” days which through social media have learned that not all those days are for training..some are for food gatherings and what not. I’m all for team building but when someone needs their medication or gets told that they will be called back at some later time during the day for a follow up but yet they don’t do so that is completely unsatisfactory. Health is nothing to reckon with and like security it should be available all of the time.
