My experience with this company demonstrated a miserable state of customer service on their part and communication is extremely lacking for my urgent needs! Will update this review if anything changes in a timely manner.

I’m shocked that the lady answering the phone still has a job. I’ve dealt with rude people but this front desk employee tops them all. I had several questions and concerns. I sent a email and the response that I got back didn’t even sound like she actually read my email. After asking several questions and given short responses I naturally questioned what she was telling me. I explained my concern, asked to speak to her supervisor she said contact housing I said I will do that but I would also like to speak to someone else there at the company and she refused. In the middle of a question she flat out hung up on me. In this line of work how are you able to treat people so poorly. She makes your company look bad. These reviews are 100% correct. I really hope that calls are being recorded. Just a brief context, I emailed my daughter was home sick and it was completely up to them if they wanted to continue the inspection out of courtesy. I was 100% available. Her response was if your child is sick that means you’re not available and that’s all I can say. I stated I am available but I was being considerate and giving a heads up. The inspector understood and was thankful for the heads up. I’m in shock still. I can’t imagine how other people get treated.

Expect to have your human rights, civil rights violated if you enter into a housing contract with this servicer.
You are going to be coerced to work more to cover their demands of tenant portion and then some.
Tenants are treated like employees and according to their practices tenants should obey the staff decisions as a legal binding debt without your consent, this is unnecessary for them, they impose debt to your name regardless of your express dissaproval.
Also, be prepared to be ignored and treated with cruelty if you speak up, literally. And have your statements (verbal) changed for them to protect themselves.
UPDATE: I wrote 3 ressonable accommodation letters by now, for them to comply with law regulations.
And, they are applying the silent treatment on me, in order to corced me to pay the imposed debt or leave the aparment with a burden of debt that will prevent me from using my credit, for a home loan, etc (thus, I'm unable to own property for example).
On top of that, they seem to feel entitled to my real estate consulting services to solve this issue; I keep writing giving them information I paid for; and I find that insulting; so I kindly ask Nan macKay to respond to the letters asap to avoid more damage.
Moreover, stop offending my intelligence telling me that you can legally change the amount at will without notice and/ or consent; because the tenant portion could go from 0 to 30%.🙄
And, since I hold a RE license in Florida, I have a moral duty to abide by real estate law, and of course I'm unable to comply with the scam.
New law to manage subsidized housing shamelessly has been created.

I received HQS training via zoom. The training was excellent and the instructor was highly knowledgeable.
I am disappointed in the follow up after completing the training. It has been 4 months and they have still not mailed out my official certificate. I had to email them twice to get the offered PDF file of my certificate, and it is just a very plain Word document converted to a PDF. It doesn't even have their logo on it. There is still no ETA on my real certificate. Why?

Only 3 days of training, which was online, and you were given a quiz that you needed to pass. If you did not pass, they let you go. How can you judge someone on their test taking skills. Really think they need to change their training program. Just sad!!!

Horrible experiences with Nan McKay & Associates, Inc.
#1 Can never get a worker on the phone to be able to confirm if they have received the proper information needed for compliance.
#2 Anytime I do actually get someone on the phone they can't seem to help me at all and are completely rude.
#3 There is only one phone number for the whole company which has locations in multiple states and when you contact that phone number all you can do is leave a message and hope you'll get a call back.
#4 I don't understand why housing recipients don't have assigned worker that deals with their case personally.
If for some reason they do why doesn't their worker have a direct phone number to contact.

Very rude receptionist and talks back to you like a brat teenager.
I waited for the inspector and even called to confirm that he was going to show up. I went to the bathroom and when I got out of the bathroom inspector came and left. I tried to call back but he says I have to reschedule. I took off work and don't get paid time off.
