A good place to work or study. The staff are helpful, computers are available to use, and you can charge your phone or computer here. Restrooms are clean and there is a small coffee shop offering snacks and drinks during the week. Quiet place to do what you need to do.

This is my favorite library in San Diego County. I love how spacious it is and it's natural lighting. They have plenty of seating and I feel like I can get a lot of work done. I appreciate their approach to balancing quietness while allowing some space for work based conversation. I only wish they had a more modern room booking system. I feel it's a bit cumbersome to need to call to reserve space when it could be done online.

Good place to read, study or work. Usually quiet, computers and printer available for use and copies are $0.15 a page.
The Rancho Cafe adjoins the library and is open Monday through Friday.
Staff is helpful, but that is what they get paid for. Bathroom is clean but there seems to be issues with the only throne in the men's room about once a week.

I find ALL libraries, these days, encourage loud kids. They don't want to hurt the little curtain monkeys feelings. Remember "inside voices?" Back when we all were taught manners?

This is a very good library. The staff are qualified to do their job. The only reason why I did not give it 5 Stars, is because of noisy students from a nearby school coming in after school hours. I generally choose my time to come in to avoid the student rush. Staff has on occasion, told the students to quiet it down. But, shortly after, they become noisy again. This library is open 7 days a week, with 4 hours open on Sunday's. If you use their computers, and you need to have sound, you are urged to bring your own headphones or ear buds from home. This library does not provide either. They have an excellent selection of DVDs and CD music too, for such a smaller sized library. Any negative review of this library is without merit. In my opinion. It is my most visited library. There is another larger County library located in El Cajon City, that I have visited too.

I've been studying at this location for years and have yet to find a better library. The staff should probably work on their people skills and greet those that come in instead of look constipated or upset. Like i said, i've been going here for YEARS and the only time i've been greeted was by security (nice dude). That's a pretty minor critique, but they excel in keeping the noise level down especially when the kids at the middle school come in. There's ample amount of seating, outlets, it's clean and they have a good book selection. I only wished that they were open later 5/6pm and that parents would stop using the parking lot as an after school pick up area. But overall this is a damn good place to study or focus despite the minor flaws.

I went to this library to see a friend's artwork that was hung there. The library is a beautiful space! Open, airy, clean with a teen room and helpful staff.

It has a small coffee shop selling hot and cold drinks and various snacks.

I chatted too long in the coffee shop and missed the used book store, unfortunately.
