San francisco county fair building is a nice place to visit. I visited the dahlia show that is held annually and it was amazing. Loved all the flowers and how they arranged it all. It has a lot of space and light for such events.

Today I was blown away to see the Dahlia Society Show at the SF County Fair Building.
So many colors of dahlias.
So many sizes of dahlias.
Going on this weekend (8/20-8/21/22) with best in show to be decided on Sunday!
Flower lovers and photographers* who love photographing flowers will love this event. Great space for any show botanical themed & of community interest!
*photographers will go crazy at this floral event

The semiannual orchid show has many rare orchids for sale. If you are a orchid enthusiast, don’t miss it! It’s difficult to find parking though.

This is our 2nd year attending the Cactus & succulents show. We love it every time. Lots of vendors and tons of varieties of plants, cacti, succulents, etc.
Just get here early enough to get closer parking since they don't have a designated lot.

I have been to two 2023 events here and both were great! I would definitely go back to the chocolatier and dahlia festivals. This building is basically one big room and is perhaps a bit dated but it is used well and has restrooms

The inside was a little on the cold, concrete side but outside is gorgeous with the Golden Gate park surrounding. Had an amazing time working the Crystal Fair! Lots of restaurants nearby.
