Nice size room clean and well equipped. Decent pool, spa and gym. Breakfast had plenty of options and quantity. Decent bar/restaurant next door. No problem parking but take care as some spots flood on very high tides. Wifi in the room was weak and prone to dropping out. Free bikes were a nice idea but do need some serious maintenance. The hotel was a touch on the chilly side while we were there.

My husband booked this room for a quick weekend trip to Muir Woods. The location's great if you're going there. Free parking but I guess it floods, thankfully we were warned. Friendly staff. Rooms were okay, a bit small. There were ants in the bathroom so that was kinda gross. The toilet tank wasn't refilling for some reason so I kept having to take the tank lid off which was annoying. Breakfast was free so I can't complain too much. Beds were comfy. The rooms have pretty thin walls and the air conditioner isn't very loud, so if you're a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs or something with white noise. Didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice.

Toxic Air Alert!!!
Febreeze does not equal clean … the location is great but the rooms were so heavily sprayed with air freshener I felt poisoned by staying one night in this place. I asked Jefferson for help, and he was not helpful. Josue did show me two other rooms and I took the least toxic smelling one with a patio facing the pool. I left the windows open all night with fans on and still could not reduce the odor. The potential for this hotel is good but they need updating and to fix their air quality issues. I recommend avoiding this place.

Anytime our company has a job in the area we always check to see if this Holiday Inn Express has availability. Great place to stay that includes all the amenities our employees need to be able to wind down at the end of a work day. The breakfast options are a good variety so anyone with any dietary restrictions has something to choose from. The staff at this location are courteous and available. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very clean. The housekeeping staff very helpful, and considerate. The Breakfast was better than any other place that I have stayed at such a variety, I could choose to eat light or have a big breakfast. The hours good, and I found less people in the early hours when I prefer to eat.

I have family in the Outer Richmond District of San Francisco. So it's an easy hop, skip, and jump from Mill Valley Holiday Inn Express. The hotel is very clean. Rooms are large and comfortable. There are lots of hiking and biking trails just outside of the hotel. Breakfast is excellent, lots of variety. Easy access to Hwy. 101. We'll be returning.

We really enjoyed our stay for many reasons including ample parking, fantastic saltwater pool, well heated hot tub, breakfast options and availability, and room comfort. The only critique would be the size of the bathroom. It was incredibly small, but did have great water pressure. The location of this hotel was fantastic. A very easy drive from downtown SF and within walking distance to many eateries/pubs/drug stores. The walking trail right out the front door was also appreciated. This is just a really nice area and extremely close to Muir Woods and Sausalito. The hotel also offers small bottles of water which was such a nice touch! |Side note: The pizza from Pizza Hacker was SO GOOD - you can easily walk to pick up your pizza.

I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The location was excellent to the ferry in Sausalito. It was a quick 10-minute Uber ride there and back. I loved the free parking at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and two people were refilling all the breakfast items. Always a supply of food. The room was clean, and the area was beautiful.
