Heather is a one-of-a-kind piano teacher. She is gentle and kind, yet imparts high expectations at the same time. I don't know how she combines those values so masterfully, but she does. My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Heather for over six years and my daughter has enjoyed it the entire time. Not once has she ever asked to miss a lesson or quit. Heather shares her love of music with her students.

All four of my children have benefited with their Suzuki background and experience. A huge shout out for professional and qualified instructors at Suzuki Piano Academy such as Mr. Connor. Their dedication to a child’s development, including music appreciation goes beyond the mark, in my opinion.

My son has been with Heather and the Suzuki Piano Academy for 6 years. Heather truly cares about the students and works hard to ensure that they learn, progress, and enjoy playing. She always has time for him and is very accommodating with our schedules. A great place and experience for learning to play piano.

We love Mrs. Heather! She teaches myself and my 3 year-old son weekly. She is patient, caring, knowledgeable and talented. My son loves playing the piano and it's never a struggle. We're so happy we found her!

I have two girls going to this piano school. My eldest in particular went through many teachers because of our multiple moves, and this school is her favorite - she plays with joy and looks forward to her next lesson with Ms. Heather. My youngest is not very patient by nature plus she thinks she learns piano because of me and her sister, but she too plays with joy now and loves her teacher Ms. Sierra.

We have been with the Suzuki Piano Academy for almost 10 years. My daughter started taking lessons from Ms. Heather when she was 4 years old. Ms. Heather is great with young children. She's very patient and plays little games with them to keep them interested in practicing on the piano. My kids are older now, so they don't need the games anymore.

Ms. Heather teaches piano with the Suzuki Method which means the children learn to play piano by ear and memorize all their piano pieces before they learn to read music. This method worked for us, but sight reading music is definitely the hardest for my kids. They'd much prefer to memorize all their piano pieces!

I feel that Ms. Heather is a wonderful teacher and I highly recommend the Suzuki Method for piano. Both of my kids play the piano very well, so I'm very satisfied with the Suzuki Piano Academy. But you really do have to practice frequently on your own time to get the most out of it! My kids practice 4-5 times a week during the summer because they have the time. Unfortunately, they only practice 1-2 times a week during the busiest parts of the school year. I've noticed that they improve so much during the summer, but then sort of stagnate during the school year. Frequent practice makes a huge difference!

Heather is a terrific teacher. She has really helped my daughter advance in her classical piano that other teachers couldn't.
