House of Cardz is the best school! The casino I wanted to work for recommended that I go there and it was a great choice. They have full size tables and so many students that you actually get the feel of dealing on a real craps game. The owners teach you so many different ways to calculate payouts so you can choose which way works best for you. They have multiple drills that help with handling checks and repetitive actions so your brain automatically knows payouts and how to do presses. They contact the casinos to let them know when you are ready to help you get an audition. They really care about you and even came to the school to help me practice before my Saturday morning audition! Another bonus is that so many students already work at the casinos and when I started it was comforting to see so many familiar faces from House of Cardz. I have recommended this school to so many people. They are incredible teachers! Can't say enough positive things. Thank you House of Cardz!

I was dealing poker for over ten years at a couple different places in San Diego, & because of the break the pandemic gave I finally decided it was time to learn table games to get off the repetition & boredom of dealing poker. I'm extremely happy I did & I didn't realize how much better dealing table games really is. I made more in my first table games shift than I did in any of my shifts dealing poker for over ten years! (minus a few jackpot dealing nights - but I was blown away with how much easier dealing table games is too).

Darryl and Kristi were great instructors and both had their own styles to sharpen up game knowledge and techniques to pass auditions. From beginner to having some experience, they're patient with you and know how much attention to give each person. I loved how flexible they were with class time.

Go in to school when you can and pass the audition when you're ready! I'm sure you'll be happy you did too. The money I used for table games school was literally some of the best money I've ever spent. It was a much needed change for the better.

I came into this school with zero casino dealing experience and a desire to be proficient dealing all of the games, including craps. 3 months later i am proud to say that i was the first dealer with no casino experience to be hired at Gila River.

The husband/wife team Daryl and Kristi provided a fun, intense, and thorough learning experience. Both have two almost polar opposite styles of teaching which complement each other very well to help you become a versatile well rounded dealer. They have had long careers as dealers and this is evident the second you step into their classroom. But what i thought was the most impressive trait of their school was their organization. At any given time they can have multiple students in the room all doing different things at different stages but because they know exactly where everyone is at in their process so well every student comes away feeling like they received 1 on 1 instruction.

Completing this process wasn’t easy. It would have been impossible though without the instruction i received here from Daryl and Kristi. If you are hungry and willing to put in the time and energy, i can’t imagine having better mentors than these two.

10000% recommend these guys! This school is amazing. Darryl and Kristi are what makes this school as awesome as it is. They have a very dynamic teaching strategy that can appeal any learning style. For example, Darryl knew that I was a mechanic, so he would use analogies to a car engine or parts to help things make sense to me. This worked so well! Kristie had an awesome way of teaching me not only how but WHY we do things a certain way as a dealer. With them two it’s really the full package and a very immersive experience . They adapt to your learning style and help you become a great dealer.
I can honestly say their school was the best investment I’ve made in myself and my bank account.

10/10 If you’re looking for a Casino school to attend this is definitely where your search should end. Both Darryl and Kristi are amazing teachers. Everyone learns in different ways and they definitely make sure that they tend to everyone’s ways. Darryl and Kristi are there every step of the way with you from teaching the games, to audition and even after. You definitely feel like one big family at their school. Thanks you two for everything!

I highly recommend the House of Cards to ANYONE who is looking to learn how to deal or become a better dealer. The impact Daryl and Kristi has had on my life has been tremendous. To be able to change career paths from a software engineer to a dealer has been the best decision of my life. But more importantly than anything im having FUN everyday I come to work. This school provided a real family feel to it and you will enjoy coming to school every single day. Through their patience, gaming knowledge and expertise, I developed a strong skill set and knowledge of all table games and they did everything necessary to prepare me for a successful audition. As someone who has never gambled, this spot is a safe place to learn. Instructors take they're time to explain things in great detail and cater to you. They want you to pass your auditions! If you don't understand something, they'll try to explain/teach it another way. I'm very grateful towards Darryl and Kristi. They gave me a second chance in life... because becoming a dealer is a life changing experience.
