This place was low-key lit. There is a nice lake beach which I enjoyed sitting at while I was eating some very nice extra large air. There is alot of places where you can walk and run. You can also move around with good leg room. I also like the sun their as it is very warm. There are slopes where you can bike down at fast speeds.

Because of the imminent danger this dam is in and based on supply and demand economical laws, I would highly recommend you guys visit the dam as soon as you can. Prices rose a mere 3% to visit since last year, and I estimate it to be as high as 4% next year and 7.72% by the end of this decade.

A spectacular Folsom Treasure we now only see from a distance...

Folsom Dam is a fascinating landmark and it is a shame that terrorist threats have forced the government to close public access.

I still vividly remember touring inside before the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. We visited deep in the dank moist bowels of the dam and looked out over the area from the tower up on the old dam road.

This is a pretty cool dam to see. Unfortunately there isn't a really good place to stop and look at it. They recently built a whole new spillway which runs parallel to the road that passes by.

Awesome view from Folsom Lake Crossing. It’s a bit of a walk no matter where you park, but well worth it!
