Alright, let’s get something out of the way – yes, I’m part of the investment group that has ownership in New Era Escrow. But here’s the plot twist: I didn’t create this company just for the fun of it (though we do have fun around here). I built it out of necessity!

In my long career in real estate, working with other escrow companies was… let’s say, an adventure. From lost documents to endless delays, I’ve seen it all. Honestly, if you haven’t had a deal delayed because of “misfiled paperwork,” are you even in real estate? (Kidding. Sort of.)

So, part of the reason I started New Era was to fix the very headaches I experienced firsthand. I wanted an escrow team that not only met deadlines but also made the process feel seamless—like a well-oiled machine instead of a rusty bicycle.

Fast forward to today: I’m not just the owner, I’m a client too. My real estate team, Urb&Lux, uses New Era for our deals, and every single time, they deliver. Terrica Banks and the team? Absolute legends. I throw them some pretty wild challenges, and they handle it all with a calm that makes me wonder if they secretly have superpowers. I mean, who stays this zen while dealing with escrow?

So yeah, I might be a little biased, but I’ve earned that bias after years of wrestling with less-than-stellar experiences elsewhere. With New Era, the job gets done, it gets done right, and—dare I say—it’s even enjoyable. I only wish I’d created this company sooner.

New Era Escrow provides outstanding service - as an experienced agent I love their proactive stance. They do “pre-escrow services” that ensure my clients are not rushed or stressed out getting reports or settling title issues that can crop up. Terrica Banks, Euan Smith and Stacie Maspero are all very experienced and they have done amazing training for our office and agents also. Maribel and Kameelah give excellent service and support! They also do holding escrows which is great for business clients and more.

Last, but not least, Terrica is a great Chief Executive Officer and Senior Escrow Officer - she is exceptionally patient and she and her whole team go above and beyond for the clients.
