Enjoyed walking through the small museum. It has a good amount of items to look at. Gift shop had plenty of books to choose from to learn more of the area's history. We were unable to return for upcoming events; I would have liked to watch the mill in operation.

The Flatiron was closed, but as we found out, there is an endless combination of trails around the base of this behemoth. We enjoyed the morning hike all around the base. Build your own hike. We'll be back when flatiron opens.

10$ Day parking is very close to the trail to the mountains. There are restrooms and power in them. There is a water spigot outside the restrooms. Plenty of picnic tables under some shade. A bunch of mountain biking trails! The hike is a short distance up to the mountains.

Great fun for the whole family! Lots of signs to watch out for snakes so maybe wear boots. I didn’t see any snakes but it is wise to stay on the paths and not wander off.
