As a first-time attendee at the GJX Show Tucson, I was met with frustration and disappointment due to the unaccommodating staff and poor communication regarding the show's closing time.

Arriving on the last day of the event to deliver displays to an exhibitor, I expected to be able to access the show until its scheduled closing time at 4pm, as indicated on the website. However, upon my arrival at around 3pm, I found a crowd of people outside the venue, with staff members directing everyone away and claiming that the show was closed.

When I questioned the staff about the discrepancy between the website information and their actions, I was met with indifference and rudeness. One staff member even went so far as to dismiss the website information, stating that it was not their concern and insisting that the show's rules superseded any online announcements.

After suggesting that they should have posted a notice at the door to inform attendees of the early closure, the situation escalated quickly. The staff became hostile, and one member even resorted to yelling at me. It was only after I persisted that they finally acknowledged the oversight and hastily flipped a sign that had been facing the wrong way, indicating the closure.

To my disbelief, my attempt to seek clarification resulted in a threat of arrest by a Tucson Police officer, who accused me of shouting when I was merely trying to engage in a civil conversation. Despite explaining my intention to abide by the rules and simply seeking clarity, I was given an ultimatum to move to the sidewalk or face arrest.

This entire experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and respect shown by the staff at the GJX Show Tucson. While I understand that events can be hectic, there is no excuse for resorting to aggression and force when faced with a simple inquiry.

In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend patronizing an event where attendees are treated with such disdain and where basic communication and customer service are sorely lacking. It is my hope that the organizers of the GJX Show Tucson will take this feedback seriously and make necessary improvements to ensure a more positive experience for future attendees.

Great exhibitors and the setup crew is amazing for putting everything together every year. Ask the City of Tucson to finally give them permits to build. They've been trying to for over 20 years!!!

Parking for handicap is on the other side of the tent. Registration was very far away and I who has neuropathy and 9 plus autoamunie disease they make you walk through gravel all the way around the buildings. So, because of that my body goes into a type of tremors that makes it hard to continue walking. The bathroom had this sign in it so that did make me laugh.

Very poor organization ... First they lose my data from the last show and then, after making us wait in line for two hours for registration, they had the audacity to charge $35 for a guest. Add to that poor parking facilities and you have a nightmare ... I won't be back. They have forgotten who pays the bills here. It's not the exhibitors. It's the buyers.
