This was a great outing for our family! We brought our three year old and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of engaging activities for her. The museum was at the back of the park, but we were given a map, and there were little fun icons on signs pointing us in the right direction.

It was a very nice experience. I think it is a great place for state visitors to checkout. As a native, it wasn't impressive in the sense of discovering new wildlife/nature we haven't seen, however the setup and layout is really nice and the performances (open air concert style) was very enjoyable.

The kids, 5 and 8, had a great time this morning! They ran from station to station outside sending a good amount of time at each. Lots of hands-on activities and crafts. Inside they played at the "market" and loved catching the scarves blowing through the tubes. They and the others had a blast!

Wow!! What a wonderful place! We took our 2 year old here and he loved it! He could just run around the whole time and play, nothing could hurt him. It was super clean and such a great place for toddlers and young children to use their IMAGINATION!!!
They have a paint area, a drawing area, a place to write. They have a quiet area for infants back in the corner. They have 2 areas where there are lots of books for your kids to read! Fantastic place to get your children to use their creativity, imagination and learn personal skills with others their age. We absolutely love it! There is no public WIFI, but what a great opportunity to shoulder with our children and not be distracted. Hey, we are all really children at heart, right?

Great books but there were no children on display. Don't museums typically have staged dioramas? 😉

The walk up to the museum is beautiful desert scenery but in the heat is a bit much. Took our 4 yr old granddaughter she did enjoy herself. But we had to carry her back down the trail.

It’s ok. It’s a 10 minute walk in the dirt from the pay window to the actual children’s museum. It’s also like a maze to get there. Once you get there it’s all outdoors. There’s one small room for toddlers, but it doubles as a break room for employees. Every activity is covered in dirt or torn apart. Not worth it in my opinion. Here’s a pic of the lovely water table with dirty toys and a few drops of water, and again full of dirt. The older reviews are from the OLD LOCATION. They have moved unfortunately. I wish they would go back to the old location!! It was 1000% better!!!!!

Cute little children’s museum! A much smaller space than your typical children’s museum and geared towards younger toddlers but quaint and enjoyable. Very friendly staff.

We came for the museum but also enjoyed walking through the gardens. Parents with young toddlers I’d recommend bringing a stroller cause the children’s museum is at the back of the property. It’s a beautiful walk but takes about a 10min to get to there. I unfortunately didn’t realize and carried my 1.5y old

A note for management, I would recommend changing the Google Map location. Currently if you follow Google Maps it takes you to the staff parking lot. I drove around for 10min confused about where the entrance was and almost left until I just happened to drive by the Tohono Chul entrance and realized. I’m from out of town so had no idea what Tohono Chul was or that the children’s museum was in there. Also the Google Maps phone number connects you to the Tucson Children’s Museum and they weren’t able to help me
