I have been to a lot of museums but not any quite like this. It was fun, interesting, and well put together. The guide was really cool as well and I really enjoyed his story telling. Love that they are dog friendly as well! My little floof was confused as to why he was there, but had fun nonetheless!

The tour is quite boring (though it’s informative)…to be honest. We are being dumped into several rooms and watch videos in each of them. Hmmm…not kids friendly either as mine lost interest when they repeatedly move to another room and look at the 27ish TV for videos ?‍↕️. I wouldn’t recommend this tour if you visit Hot Springs with young little ones because they can be noisy and cause distractions to others in those little rooms.

If you love history and want to see Hot Springs in a new light that is absolutely fascinating, then get a tour here! Our tour guide, Peter, really brought these stories to life for us. He told us about the corrupt politicians and the neutral ground where Chicago, Detroit, New York gangsters could relax, bathe in the healing waters, get advice from an experienced gangster, and make some money. We learned about moonshine sold during prohibition, baseball, outlaws, gambling, and what's beneath the streets of Hot Springs. They had videos of interviews with people who remember the celebrities and gangsters, even people who waited on them. The gambling room was the most fun place to take "blackmail" pictures of my family at the roulette table.

Their gift shop has lots of hats from fedoras to wide brimmed derby hats and sun hats. They have posters of the famous Arkansas baseball players.

Do it! It's great!

It was really interesting and informative.. I was fascinated with how popular it was in the past.. And why many of us are drawn to this place…. I have been coming to this city for years due to its environment and nature.. little did I know how more demonic the rockerfellers are.. I knew they were evil but they are more worse than I thought.. It’s good to know because the more u know the better u can help dismantle the “control and power” they have put into place..

This was so cool, the tour guide fit into the character so well. It was so interesting and it has other rooms of different history. Especially the baseball Hall of Fame with the life like statue of Babe Ruth. So if you are ever in Hot Springs, Arkansas go stop in, you will be amazed.

The gangster museum tour was an awesome experience to learn of the power brokers and the gangsters that had spent time there including Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, The Barker’s, Frank Costello on and on. Also on the tour we learned that most baseball players came to train and use the thermal bath houses. Players like Babe Ruth,Dizzy Dean and more.

I did not expect this to be my favorite thing in Hot Springs! I had no idea Hot Springs was Club Med for gangsters! This tour guide brought history alive for us. He is the best. Maybe he is an original gangster!
