Attended the SOAR NWA Festival at the fairgrounds on Saturday to take a helicopter ride + enjoy the sights + sounds

We were able to camp here overnight, while traveling through town. We were the only ones here. They have several hookups with electric and water. No dump station. The grassy area for parking our rig was very muddy, so to avoid ruining the grass, we parked along the side. Great for an overnighter. Quiet and just outside town.

Benton County Fair was really fun for my teenagers and myself! Free parking and admission. It's a small fair, but big enough to spend hours riding rides and seeing the wonderful arts/crafts and the animals. The live music and dancing was very entertaining. It was such a pleasure to be there, also, the food/beverages were reasonably priced. Great place, great people.

Parking is terrible. There is a single gate for both entering and exiting cars and once you're inside there are no designated spots and no one directing where to park so it's just a free for all and the parking chaos becomes even worse when you try to leave because people converge on the exit from so many different angles that it creates a traffic jam. I think we spent longer waiting in line to get out of the parking lot than we spent in the fairgrounds. Very disappointing.

So many fun stuff for kids and quick arrangements are going on for fair.it will be great family event !!Highly recommended!!

Pretty fun. This was the first event I have been to up here and it was smaller than I expected but still really cool and plenty of room and accommodations. There weren't enough bleachers for our event but they had chairs and some people brought lawn chairs.

Was nice seeing the animals and having my 2yr old pet some goats and all different types of livestock. HOWEVER, we got there early before the rides opened. Didn't know that until after we were there. We waited 2.5hrs and I went back to the gate to get a wrist band for my son. Come to find out, it's CASH ONLY and there's a $5 ATM fee. No biggie. I pay $5 for $20 to get a wrist band for my son who's only going to ride the merry go round then we're going home. I go to collect my wrist band and I'm told I can't take the wrist band I need to have my son come back to the gate so they can put it on. I tell them they're waiting in the shade cause it's hot, he's riding one ride cause we've been here all day and then we're leaving. They tell me "NO WE put them on". So I get a refund but then am told by the same older man taking the cash at the gate I can't enter without payment not even to help my wife carry my 2yr old and all his stuff. Needless to say I left anyways and went to help my wife only to be greeted by a fair grounds employee blazing down the road on a side by side. Horrible ending to what would've been a great day. Don't plan on returning nor do I recommend anyone else in case my experience happens to you. Very unfortunate considering the great memories I have as a kid and going.
