I had some trepidation about coming here just because the 40k fandom doesn't exactly have a reputation for being the most welcoming. The owner Barrett greeted me with a smile and a handshake and welcomed me to the fandom without an ounce of judgement or hesitation. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and helped point me in the right direction for learning more about everything. It was a wonderful experience and he is truly passionate about the 40k community

Although this may sound dramatic, it is not stated with any hint of exaggeration; this humble brick and mortar store is a beacon of light in an otherwise dim and taxing city. I can't even remember a time it has been so long that I have walked into the doors of a store and felt welcome and at home. This would not have ever become a hobby of mine without that experience. And if the store itself is to represent the beacon of light, Barrett is most certainly it's destined keeper, there is no rival (Garrett is awesome too). In all seriousness, there is something to be said about Barrett's ability to make everyone who enters the doors to this place feel like they matter, and that alone is worth every penny spent in the store and on this hobby overall ten-thousand times fold.

Came here completely at random just to see what the store was about. We had a long discussion with Barrett and he showed us the miniatures he sold. He also helped both my 6 and 17 year olds paint a miniature each. Thanks to his help and kindness my daughters both have a new obsession. Thanks Barrett.

This shop is a fantastic place to get into the hobby. Barrett's awesome. He's always got helpful tips on how to paint whatever paint scheme you have in mind, and he knows all sorts of trivia about any faction you're interested in. The regulars are also super friendly and inviting. No matter what game you're interested in, there's always someone who's eager to teach you how to play it.

I cannot recommend this place enough.

This store is fantastic! Barrett (the manager) is an amazing guy and everyone is always willing to help. I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences and I wish I could give even more stars. I walked in needing some paints for a project, and just felt so welcomed by everyone in the community. I decided to start building my own army, and playing as much as possible. The store has a great space to play and enjoy painting. Barrett went out of his way to help me out and teach me everything Warhammer. It meant a ton and was so kind. This store, Barrett and the community bring such a great energy. This location is also great with kids, and is welcoming to all! 10/10, 100/100 ?
