I woke up pretty early this morning to catch the sunrise. I began my beautiful week with some fresh air, a Starbucks Iced Chai Tea Oatmilk Latte, and the blessings that filled my spirit with joy, color, life, love, and light shining through my open doorway leading in the connections of today. Color expresses many styles of emotion and connection, and every individual experiences something different from a finished art piece. Leading to the big quote, " A picture says a thousand words". Thanks to a local hero, Stephanie, who saves the lives, and their families, of battered women and children in Lonoke, Arkansas, at the Lonoke County Safe Haven, in Cabot Arkansas, I was able to find the art walk I was on the quest of searching for. Creating a fresh start, new beginnings, hope, and opening spaces to a safe place ensuring support through their tangled labyrinth web of woven emotional chaos letting go of the heavy nightmarish fears they once resided in, like an unawakable neverending lifestyle they felt no escape from. As a community, we have the power to bring, share, enhance, offer, and be the love they haven't quite been shown yet. Through a lent hand of helpful and hopeful renewal, allowing our connections to harness the inner power towards self worth and obtainable power of their own love from deep within, breaking them free from the chains and harnesses that weighted them down from moving forward by their unknowingly and blinded captured and controlled abuse and control of their own free will. Together, our community gathers by harnessing their love and light to feed the garden of plenty allowing the harvest of summer's healing growing all the hope one needs in their journey of a better tomorrow. Building a bridge between the gap that may seperate us brings a sense of connection sharing, "together we can do anything, together we can achieve a better self, and together we can build a stronger community, and together we can ensure our tomorrow is full and flourishing filled with love, hope, light, connection, healing and community". Thank you so much for sharing your light and love with me this morning, Stephanie, and I look forward to the collaboration and continued healing and support we are able to share with those who may need a bit of an uplifting experience during a moment at their halted crossroads.

Grab a latte from Brew YaYa on your way into town - park in the municipal lot - directly across from the old Firehouse. Start with the 22 mini-murals (created by local artists), then cross the street to see #ThePostcard and #TheHeartofCabot. Walk across the railroad tracks and grab a selfie with #MilkAndHoney in the background. One cup of coffee just won't do - so drive thru Grinds on your way out of town. Welcome To Cabot - the Art Scene is strong!
