Had a Blast with the family. We went at night "GloWild", didn't see any animals but the lights and the walk through the zoo made lifetime memories. The train, carousel, and Cafe Africa were open. The kids loved the circular light up swings in the park area. So glad we went.

Unexpectedly got stuck in little Rock because of luggage problems at the airport, so decided to spare 4 hours at the zoo. It's totally worth it! Would go again. I heard during November and December between certain dates they light up the whole zoo at night and it's pretty. Unfortunately, I was a few days too early. Hopefully I get another chance to see it at night!

Took my Grandson to Glow Wild, it was amazing. We enjoyed sipping on hot cocoa as we walked around looking @ the huge light displays. Joined others in the interactive dance room & playing the musical instruments. I would definitely recommend. It was a fun experience.!

Fun and worth at least one visit...but needs work. We spent about 3 hours here and didn't see everything. This place needs a lot of work. Signage and maps are out of date, we couldn't find several exhibits. Many exhibits were closed and some were so hidden they were dead zones for visitors and they had you wondering if you were in an area you weren't supposed to be. The "landscaping" is interesting. The vast majority of it is extremely overgrown weeds. The ones in front of the cafe were so tall that you could barely see the building. I really cannot tell if they're going for 100% natural or haven't paid anyone for landscaping in years. A lot of exhibits need updating and repairs. The zoo cafe is messy, sticky, in need of new tables and chairs, and needs way more seating. Food and drinks are extremely expensive, more expensive than any of the many zoos I have been to all over the country. The train is cheap and fun for small kids but loops around the same spot and leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not sure if the splash pad is even operational as it was closed during a hot summer day, but it needed work badly. The old carousel was very fun and I liked reading about it's history. Having just moved here I had hoped it would be a great place for a family membership but I don't think I would purchase one until they made some improvements.

Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Manageable distance to get around, and unlike some larger city zoos, it was easy to find restrooms and drinking stations. Some animals weren't out because of heat or construction, which is understandable. Amphibians and reptiles area, Asian elephants, and Malayan tiger are highlights. Recommended.

My family and I attended the Glo Wild event last night at the Little Rock Zoo. My kids thoroughly enjoyed The Animal Kingdom, Under the sea and Mystical marvels attractions. Local vendors were also in attendance with eats and drinks. I would totally recommend Glo Wild.

This is a great ZOO. All animals looked healthy and happy. Today, it was a hot day, and the animals were well taken care of. Lion looks either asleep or sad, other than that excellent experience. Very clean and staff was nice.

We love our local zoo. They have been making improvements constantly since we started coming several years ago. The animals are well cared for, and they appear to be working towards plenty of room for all the animals. For instance, in the bear/otter area, they have access to multiple habitats these days. And I know some people think the elephants aren't happy because they sway. These elephants are circus rescues, I believe. They are also pretty old. The swaying started long before they arrived at this zoo. I often see keepers providing the animals with enrichment and just caring for them in general. There are lots of benches for resting and great areas with shade.
