Stopped on a in on whim while walking through campus visting our son who's staying at UA for summer research after 2nd year. Although we've been to UA several times now, we didn't know about Gorgas house. What a hidden gem! It was Saturday in summer and we were only visitors. The Gorgas House director was very welcoming and gave us an in-depth personal tour. Unlike many other historical homes we've toured around the country almost nothing was off limits and it was even very hands-on. They have an incredible number of original Gorgas items. The history of Gorgas family and how Mrs. Gorgas affected UA is very interesting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
