There are so many programs offered that I just keep adding to my list! I would highly recommend the coursework through NVWA. The instructors are fantastic and very knowledgeable. Whether you work in the hospitality or beverage industry or you are an enthusiast, this is the best place to get your education.

Absolutely Loved Level 2! I'm a wine enthusiast who travels quite a bit for my job. I wanted to learn more about wine outside of the US so that I could make the most of opportunities to explore wine regions if I was close to the area. I had a fantastic experience taking the WSET 2 course. Although, the two 8 hour days were quite packed with information. I think separating the course into 4 sessions would allow the material to settle better and the tastings be more appreciated.

In any case, I would recommend this school. The instructors were encyclopedic in their knowledge of wine theory.

I took the champagne specialist course with Monika Bielka-Vescovi in LA. It was such a fun class! Monika was incredibly knowledgeable and conveyed a lot of difficult information in a fun and engaging way. She was really able to break down the information in a way that made sense to everyone and was super helpful whenever I had questions.

Without question, the materials, the Napa Valley Wine Academy support (Q&A about the class, about where to stay nearby, transportation—overall logistics etc.), the selection of wine-tastings, and the in-person class teaching from the phenomenal instructors—Csilla and Monika will leave you ready to chuck in whatever “job” you have and just….live, breath, smell, taste, drink wine. For the class prep: study. Simple as that—its on you. Highly recommend the Flashcards. Once there, embrace the fact the presentations and discussion are about WINE: the soil, the world map, the grapes, the process, the tasting, the smelling. Csilla and Monika’s professional experience to date speak for themselves in credentials and vast knowledge…yet, they show up humble and excited to share and teach. The NVWA staff was on the ball with ensuring you are comfortable during the two days—water, espresso, comfortable classroom, friendliness.
