The 31st Fall Retreat of the CEF Campus Gospel Fellowship took place from 11/22 to 11/24 on-site. The retreat hosted over 170 visiting scholars and international students from Stanford, UCSF, Berkeley, UCSB, and UCD, along with nearly forty minors. Praise the Lord! Over 10 seekers made the decision to accept Jesus. The Tabernacle building provided a wonderful setting for youth ministry.

I attended the 2017 Santa Cruz Mycoflora Foray headquartered at the Mission Springs Conference Center, and I was pleasantly surprised at the relative comfort of the accommodations. I had expected community bathrooms and more of an outdoor school experience, but our cabins were like budget motel rooms - not fancy at all, but clean, comfortable, and with private bathrooms. The one thing that was missing from the room was a mini fridge. The conference grounds were nestled in a beautiful (but cold!) Valley amongst Redwood trees. I was also surprised at the relatively high quality and healthy food served. I had expected more bland cafeteria style food. All in all my experience was excellent and I would not hesitate staying at the Mission Springs Conference Center again.

The staff was super friendly, really helpful and patient. Excellent food. And really on top of making sure the rooms were clean! I reccomend this place for you or your church's next retreat! Unfortunately I was so busy taking pictures of nature and of my group I forgot to take pictures of the facility. But its beautiful and even has a WIFI TREE super cool.

We had a therapeutic family camp at the facilities here. We had three meals a day. The food was good with different choices for different needs. Our rooms were cozy. There was basketball courts foosball tables two playground for younger and older children. The hall we used was wheelchair accessible with the lift. Equipped with everything we would need for audio video presentations. But just being out in the woods is incredible.

No middle ground here. The teaching staff were excellent. High energy, intelligent, relevant and able to relate to the kids. The support was horrendous. Worst food ever in a camp experience. When was the last time you had to use a knife to cut your French toast? Where's the meat? Turkey this, turkey that. Yuck. The cooking staff were a caring bunch, but the food was tasteless and thoughtless. We had a problem with our cabin and the maintenance staff and director were much more interested in assigning blame than the welfare of the kids involved and their belongings. Uncool. The trails were terrific. The destinations were not kept up. I would not recommend you send your kids here.
