I loved this studio! The options for classes are great and it's really approachable. The vibes are beginner friendly and you get wonderful instruction from talented teachers. If you're looking for something to take you from beginner to advanced this will not meet those needs. This is truly a great studio to explore new skills and techniques, either to try something new or figure out which trades you like best before leaping in and committing. It helps that the studio itself is easy to get to and beautiful!
I took the weaving class and leather belt class. Both were great, though I felt more satisfied with my belt, which I can now wear, versus my weaving which is decorative and not necessarily a practical piece.
Go with a friend or solo! I went solo and had a blast.

Decided to do an art class with friends for my birthday celebration, and among all places I contacted. Harley at Workshop SF responded the fastest. Some studio never called back. They had such a vast selection of classes and I chose water marbling, which was creative and easy. All of us had a blast. I highly recommend the studio for private parties and authentic and intimate art experience.

I did the Sewing Boot Camp and had an amazing time. Hayley was an absolutely amazing teacher and the class was super well structured and fun.

We learned fundamentals of machine sewing, made a lot of different small bags using a lot of different techniques, and then rounded it off with a tote bag.
Hayley was excellent at teaching us the basics of how to use a sewing machine, but also added in lots of tips and tricks. I definitely feel confident sewing at home now.
I would say the only con was every minor, and that was that the class was quite long and I was very tired after, but it's not called a boot camp for nothing.

Overall great, very worth the money and very fun!

The sewing bootcamp is amazing! I have always wanted to sew and struggled with online tutorials because little details and techniques were hard to grasp. This class was perfect and I left feeling so confident in my understanding of the basics.

The instructor, Hayley, is so good at explaining the basics, demoing, and helping. I loved that we got right into making projects because I learn best by doing things. It had been a while since I had taken an in-person class and it was so fulfilling and rewarding. The time flew by and I left feeling so proud of the things I made and excited to make more! Don't hesitate to take the class by yourself. It's a great way to spend the day and spark your creativity!

The sewing bootcamp 101 class is the best value for money class I've ever taken in San Francisco. Hayley is an incredible teacher. I learned so much and felt so accomplished by the end of the day with 4 pieces we created on the sewing machine.

I signed up for the waitlist and was so excited when a spot opened up. Even though it was a drive for me, it was more than worth it. I had so much fun, and learned WAY more than I would have via YouTube in the same amount of time. Hayley was extremely helpful, fun, and had so many tips and tricks for us. It was crazy how quickly we were working through projects by the end of class because of how much we learned from Hayley.

I loved my time there so much I signed up for 2 more classes next month!

This is a fantastic place! Very chill and welcoming atmosphere. I've done two classes so far (sewing 101 and all-day sewing class) and loved them both. Hayley is a patient and knowledgeable teacher and has designed accessible classes regardless of skill level.
