I had two great half days venturing around the Bay Area with Bruce, covering sunrise long exposure photography. You'll get to see some great unexpected spots, (especially if you're willing to be brave and do some pre-sunrise hiking) and be given plenty of tips and techniques. I was lucky enough to have a play with the new Lee Filters ProGlass and enjoyed chasing the Fog. If you're looking to learn about Long Exposure and would like to be taught by someone with a bit of character, Bruce is your guy.

Bruce and Kirit were very amicable and professional on a recent private photography excursion I booked for my family. They were prompt and knew all of the best locations in San Francisco to achieve the desired pictures I wanted. Get your hiking boots ready for some real adventure and take a workshop with Bruce Getty. He can take you were you can get jaw dropping epic shots of the Bay Area.
Bruce is an excellent teacher and very passionate about photography. Keep in mind that the location he may take you to will require some physical endurance and fearlessness, but the photos that you walk away with makes it all worth it.

I did a 3 day one-on-one workshop with Bruce in and around San Francisco. He took me to locations that most people might not get to on their own.

He did a GREAT job working me on where and how to set up a shot and what works from a composition standpoint. working with Bruce, you will capture epic shots. I would do another workshop with Bruce.

I had the chance to book a private custom sunrise workshop of 3 hours with Bruce in San Francisco. Bruce’s photos impress me and therefore he was my first choice.
Bruce picked me up and he brought me to jaw dropping beautiful places. He lend me his tripod and gave great tips about composition, lighting and camera settings.
It was a relaxed time, and we had our fun while waiting for the right light or the boats passing by. I hope I will make more workshops with him in future. Great patient man with great attitude. Thanks a lot Bruce!

Spent a sunrise and a morning with Bruce. The goal was to hit as many iconic SF locations we could in 4 hrs. Bruce navigated the city like the pro that he is, and helped with the fine-tuning for the exact locations and compositions. As a result, with his expertise, I was able to get many excellent photos, some which will hopefully make it to print for my office wall. Bruce is a true professional and a great guy. This made the tour truly enjoyable. Bruce comes highly recommended!

My girlfriend booked a one on one session for Bruce and I as a birthday gift, and wow! What an amazing experience! Bruce is extremely knowledgeable and very familiar with the San Francisco area. He will definitely take you to some amazing hidden spots to capture the Golden Gate Bridge, that will separate your photos from the tourists and everyone else! You'll learn a lot about framing, composition and whatever question you have about your camera gear. Would highly recommend a one on one with the Almighty Bruce!

Extremely knowledgeable and gave great instructions and tips during our photography workshop!

Took my second workshop this past weekend with Bruce Getty and it was fabulous! Bruce's knowledge is very impressive. Any questions asked, you get a clear informative answer. Bruce also pushes you to try different things that you may not do otherwise, like climbing down on steep rocks to get better shots from different angles. Thank You Bruce!
