My dad worked here back in the 60s and 70s and as a child I would go with him and run on the beach 5 miles. I has the opportunity to learn how and feed the fish in the aquarium area. On the weekends I would ride my horses on the beach. Oh so many wonderful memories!

It's no Monterey Aquarium, but if you find yourself in Bodega Bay on a Friday afternoon (only open to the public on Fridays from 2-4pm) then it's worth a visit.

Incredible facility with great accommodations. The setting of the laboratory is breathtaking and the different marine displays are impressive and informative. I look forward to returning as soon as possible.

In the Winter of 1975, my Best Friend, C. Allen Neighorn, MA, MA, chapheroned a group of 7 individual private study students from the private school he operated. His & his students shared an experience of a very knowledgeable staff regarding the commercial fisheries research that was taking place at this higher level university research institution.
