My husband and I were there over Labor Day weekend and we LOVED it!! I honestly cannot think of one negative thing to say about this place. We were in room 7. The room was very spacious and clean, had a huge private patio, very comfortable king size bed, huge TV with lots of channels, excellent location close to restaurants, and very friendly staff. There are lots of little lounging places around the property where you can relax with friends or just sit and read a book. There is also a coffee shop just across the parking lot with lots of pastries and coffees. There is a big kitchen area that all guests can use as well. It is fully stocked with keurig teas, hot chocolates, and coffees, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, cups, wine glasses and really anything you could possibly need. To top it all off, it was dog friendly and VERY quiet. If we ever come back to Bodega Bay, will DEFINITELY stay here again! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

My first time staying here and it was a pleasant surprise. My room was large with a private patio and the bed was very comfortable. There is a charming light and airy coffee room with tables for all to use. Staff were friendly and laid back. Great location near Bodega Head, eateries and several beaches are within five miles. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room, #7 Lighthouse was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a waterfall shower and plenty of natural light from the skylights. But what really stood out was the private outdoor patio. It was the perfect spot for my dog to relax and enjoy the fresh air, without feeling cramped or exposed.

Despite being located near a street, the hotel was remarkably quiet and peaceful. It felt like a secluded oasis, thanks to the thoughtful design and landscaping. The location was ideal, with a cozy coffee shop just steps away and a promising restaurant, Terrapin, right next door (although we were disappointed to find it closed on Tuesday night).

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable, clean, and quiet stay, especially if you're traveling with a pet.

As a manager in hospitality I tend to be overly critical while also being empathetic to the challenges faced in this industry.
Overall I was pleased with the cleanliness, but shower hair and dirty mirrors are not acceptable.
Check in was fine, evening desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Morning desk person was definitely in the wrong business. I clearly was out of line asking about the lobby coffee at 8:15 AM..was told sternly that she was "working on it"...
Choosing to paint the elevator is good, doing at 8 am on a Friday, not so good.
The view was awesome, quiet area up away from the stores by a few blocks.
A value for the area for sure.
Garage parking is great, but what's the point when there are no gates.

Loved our stay at the Bodega Bay Inn. The staff were wonderful, with great recommendations of things to do in the area as well as where to eat. Our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We only wish we could stay longer!

The perfect hotel. Laid back and rustic, feels like you're staying at a friend's place. The room I stayed in had a huge patio with table + chairs. Yet the sheets, towel, and general housekeeping are the quality of a major chain.

All of this for under $200? Unbelievable. I liked it so much that I cancelled the rest of my trip and stayed here the entire time.

Only note is that the patio door did not have a screen. I was disappointed because leaving it open was so nice overnight, but mosquitos kept flying in.

Our room looked nothing like the pictures. It was dated, dark, and depressing. No real amenities in the room. Seemed a bit overpriced for the quality. The shower was tiny. Could not get the TV to work. Wi-fi was spotty. Glad we were only staying one night as we were passing through town. Would definitely not recommend.

The Bodega Bay Inn was an unexpected delight for my whole family. It felt almost like a bed and breakfast, with only 7 rooms, and each one unique. The outdoor and indoor sitting/gathering/ relaxing spaces were such a nice touch. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
