It’s really nice how philanthropic the SEC is. Especially with their steady support of the Alabama School of the Blind. They have a wonderful direct-hire program from the school to their officiating crews. So cool to watch their continued support of the community over the years!! 10/10!!

Although I am pleased with the Michigan vs TCU outcome, I am very disappointed in the officiating of these officials as a whole. Even the commentators mentioned the horrible officiating. I believe middle school officials could have done a better job. There should be more scrutiny on these horrible calls and non calls.

Someone here paid a man named Kirk Herbstreit to violate everyone in the ACC using Dr. Pepper cans for some reason. Don’t go here unless you work for them or for Espn, sorry that was redundant. The nighttime payoff drive-through window for CFP committee members was highly organized and efficient however.

One star since you cannot give zero stars. This company provided subpar officiating in football and basketball over the last 7 years, in order to strategically place more teams into a better post season position (specifically, teams favored by high ranking employees).

PS - if you fire Pat Adams from ever officiating a basketball game in the SEC, I’ll donate 1M to the company for SEC official’s continuing education.

I remember when SC left the ACC and my father said, "good news - you're leaving Tobacco Road refs - bad news - you're getting Birmingham refs." Several calls in the 2019 SC Alabama game were awful and favored Alabama: the ref told Coach Muschamp no replay and then there was replay and the holding call on the fake field goal. No, I am not saying SC should have won; but is should have been a lot closer.

Way too easy for them to be biased to a certain school that is only 56 miles away (Birmingham to Tuscaloosa). Let me know the day they wise up and move somewhere that people are more fair to the other SEC schools. If that’s not biased, I don’t know what is. Apparently, we need outside conference officials in charge of the games so things will be fair.

In my 50+ years of experience in the SEC, the support staff has been awesome, giving everyone a friendly, "Roll Tide!" and always asking if I need a pretty co-ed escort or a loaner car while in town. They have an incredible remedial learning program in Tuscaloosa, and with Title IX funding, have been able to provide a great training center at the University of Alabama that includes brass poles, twerking mirrors, serving trays and touch-a-picture cash registers to train their graduates for exciting career opportunities after graduating.

All the good aside, upper management uses a management style that can only be described as opaque. Nobody can access any of the C-level executives. Calls for comment, action or consideration by members or credentialed press are ignored. The only way to catch any of their attention is when they're at the bank cashing out money orders, usually when an Alabama-based SEC referee or Alabama athlete drives them to the bank in a new Dodge Challenger.

The facilities are the finest the member schools can buy, with large spacious rooms large enough to park an elephant ridden by a midget. A must visit is the Room of Calls, where key game changing opposition penalties in Alabama history are showcased alongside the 108 football championships Alabama has won. Furniture in this room is covered in faux elephant leather and hand stitched using stretched truth and outright lies. A must see on your next visit!

Although I have been a supporter for decades, I am very disappointed in the SEC’s lack of objectivity and apparent inability to be fair and balanced. Random example: horrendous call and lack of appeals process for the Devin White targeting call. Until their obvious bias is corrected, I have to give one star. This injustice could be corrected if the leadership had the will, but apparently they wish to hide behind their lame contention that nothing can be done. A similar occurrence happened several years ago when Florida made a weak argument that they could not play a game as scheduled. Instead of forcing Florida to make reasonable accommodations or forfeit, the SEC allowed the Florida AD to make the changes that would be advantageous to UF alone. The SEC said, once again, nothing could be done. This is weak, folks, and it shows a lack of will. Until this changes I cannot make a recommendation for the SEC. Pitiful.
