We booked this hotel for a Friday and Saturday night stay. We woke up to no hot water on Saturday morning. We called the front desk and were told the entire hotel was out of hot water as the boiler was broke. We went on our day and returned at 2pm to a note saying the water would not be fixed and we could check out with no fees or get a 30% discount for the night. We inquired why there was no discount for Friday since we woke up Saturday morning at 7:30am with no hot water. They said there are no discounts for Friday as there was hot water Friday night. We explained that Saturday morning was part of the stay we paid for and even if we were not staying the other night it was prior to check out. They refused to give a discount. Paying full price for a hotel with limited amenities does not seem right. We decided to check out and not stay Saturday night. I asked for a receipt and was told they could not print one. The next morning I checked my bank account and was charged for Saturday night. We had to call and go through everything once again when we never should have been charged. The customer service is absolutely terrible here. All they tell you is upper management sets the rules. It’s a good location but I would ever stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Sonoma and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Sonoma, making it incredibly easy to explore the surrounding vineyards, restaurants, and shops on foot. The central location was a huge plus, especially for wine tasting and dining.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The property itself is charming, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere.

Overall, it was a great stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again the next time we're in Sonoma! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in wine country.

I made reservations to stay at this hotel in three months. Today, I received an alert that my credit card had been charged for a night’s stay. When I called the front desk they explained they require a deposit (apparently three months prior), which is neither communicated to nor authorized by their guests. I rechecked the rules and regulations of my reservation before calling, and, beyond the usual cancellation restrictions (which are nearly three months away), there’s absolutely nothing in the language referencing a deposit, much less one taken 90 days prior to your stay.

We recently held a 1 ½-day staff retreat at the Best Western Sonoma Valley Inn, and it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were great—spacious and comfortable—and parking was more than adequate for our group. The Krug Event Center was perfect for our meetings, complete with new furniture that made it feel fresh and modern. The outdoor space was a wonderful bonus, allowing us to network and enjoy our downtime in a relaxing setting.||The staff was incredibly accommodating, managing to check in the majority of our 45 team members early, so all they had to do was stop by registration to pick up their keys. PJ, in particular, was an outstanding host, ensuring that we had everything we needed. PJ also recommended an amazing catering company, Delicious Dish, which provided fantastic food for our event.||Overall, the Best Western Sonoma Valley Inn is a great choice for any retreat or group event. Highly recommend!

This hotel is ideally located for Sonoma Plaza, just a block away with all its history, wine tastings, bars and restaurants.
The hotel was clean and our room (213) was very comfortable with great facilities and a corner view.
The pool and hot tub were closed during our visit, the ice machine was broken and they didn’t have the vouchers for free wine tastings that their welcome pack mentions, so these things need to be addressed.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for its location and value.

We were pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. It was an unexpected reservation after our original reservation not turning out well. The pool area smd jscuzzi are very clean and inviting, the rooms are well appointed and the breakfast was great. Nice staff too.

Upgraded rooms are beautiful and spacious! Updates made are great and modern. Easy walk to downtown Sonoma.

Breakfast is in a guest room and open at 7 am so us central time zones guests were waiting a while and got hungry. Food was basic and stale (bagels, yogurt, apples).

Biggest issue we had was the pool deck is SO slippery! I exited the pool carefully after another guest told us to be careful because it is slippery and I completely wiped out onto the pool deck. This will become a major issue if not fixed. A slippery floor sign will not solve this issue - thankfully nothing besides my big toe really hurt.

But overall, would stay again for convenience and nice rooms.

Rooms were clean and nice. Not $460.00 a night nice though. AC in room was extremley loud. I Shut it off when going to bed. Pool was very dirty from all the trees around it. The continental breakfast was definitely on the lower scale of average. The gal overseeing the breakfast was very pleasant though. Housekeeping was good.
