Just came from the "Vengeance on the Oregon Trail" presentation, Josie Smith is knowledgeable and well-researched, really enjoyed it! Sept 2022 History Keepers event: Friendly volunteers, great stories, cool displays! The grinding stones and mammoth fossils were my favorite (and that gorgeous headboard!)

Went there for a benefit antique appraisal.had 6 items appraised for $5 each. The lady was nice and seemingly knowledgeable. I was happy to find out history and value on my items.several were worth more than I expected.

My husband and I were visiting the area and happened to see the Tehama County Museum. It was closed but I called the number posted on a sign outside. We weren't going to stay much longer in Tehama but to my surprise, I received a phone call back. The docent, Paul, was so accommodating and we set up a time to meet at the museum. Paul gave us a fantastic, private tour of the museum even though it was being remodeled. I learned so much a out this part of California that would not have happened except for Paul. The museum is very fortunate to have such a dedicated person contected to them.
