Starfish academy has been great for my boys.
My boys are now 8 & 5, this is the 3rd summer attending. We do the 40min classes. The one on one is great for them to really learn & build confidence.
Most of our lessons have been with Dominic, my boys love him but honestly all the instructors are great, all very attentive & friendly.
I’d definitely recommend to anyone.

Everything about our experience was great. My 5 year old daughter took swim lessons for 2 weeks through Parks & Rec last summer, and it was a disaster (crying, refusing to try anything, etc). At Starfish, she got right in with Mr Dominic, and she was putting her head underwater 15 minutes into her first lesson. If that isn't worthy of a 5 star review, I don't know what is!

My daughter had her first lesson this week and it did not disappoint! Miss Shyanne was amazing, kind, and very attentive. It has also been great working with the owner. She answers emails, text reminders, and is easy to communicate with. The pool area is very clean and organized. She has lots of places for you to sit and watch and even plays great music. We cannot wait to have our daughter continue lessons this spring and summer!

Highly recommend lessons from Starfish Swim Academy. My girls absolutely loved the warm water and water table outside while they waited for their turn. Ms. Maria is amazing and really pushes our kids in a comfortable way that makes them more confident.

We can’t say enough good things about Starfish, the instructors, and Ms. Sarah. Two of my children have attended swim lessons here. We have attended classes at Biola as well as the aquatic center. Those places weren’t bad, but weren’t ideal for us. My youngest has had a hard time with a fear of water and needed more of a one on one approach. The patience that they have had with her during classes has made a huge difference. After last year my youngest was swimming and felt comfortable jumping into the pool (HUGE accomplishment). We are going back this summer for some refresher courses. Scheduling has been easy, with a good availability of time slots.

I spent a lot of time researching swim lessons for my toddler. I was happy to come across a local private instructor, My 3 year old daughter looks forward to swim lessons with Miss Maria. This is my 3rd summer with Starfish Swim Academy and my son has progressed so much. We started with Sarah and have been working with Shayanne this summer. They are prompt to respond via email, text or through their website, professional and keep competitive fair rates. I have been a swim instructor for over half of my life and have high expectations for those teaching my son. These expectations are easily filled with this swim school. My younger ones will be old enough next summer and we will be adding them to the mix too.
