I couldn't imagine a better reception venue for a DIY wedding. Linda and Tyler responded promptly to every email and call and were available for on-site visits whenever I requested one. They answered every question and clearly wanted to make this a special day as much as we did! Tyler even worked separately with our DJ to help her become familiar with all the details of the excellent A/V system. The venue is beautiful, and having access to the patio was a wonderful advantage. We had beverages and appetizers on the patio, and were even able to have our caterer make tacos on-site there. The hall comfortably accommodated over 200 guests along with a dance floor. Tables and chairs are included in the rental price, and we were also allowed to use the coffee maker (we provided coffee and filters). The large windows provide lovely natural light and make the space feel even brighter and roomier. The day of the event, Matthew was on-site to help us and our caterer. The custodial staff did a perfect job setting up exactly as we'd requested and cleaning up after the event. They were patient and courteous with us, even at that late-night hour. I was truly impressed by the staff of First Congregational Church and would recommend this venue to anyone. I feel so lucky we found such a kind, welcoming spot to celebrate our wedding reception with our family and friends!
