I’ve been checking out various co-working spaces recently, and after my first visit to Juku, there’s no doubt in my mind that this is the right choice. From the moment I entered the building, the owners were incredibly welcoming, making me feel like part of the family. Juku is an absolute hidden gem, with a cozy atmosphere that instantly stood out. My husband and I had our baby’s first birthday at JUKU and we loved it. Shoko and Jordan were so helpful and easy to work with. We were able to put up decorations really easily. They provided hot water for a ramen bar and coffee. Everyone said it was such a cool space. I would definitely have another event there in the future.

Juku is an amazing place to work or study! As a student I come here all the time and it’s way easier to study here than at a cafe. The environment is so productive and they also have tons of great snacks, pastries, and drinks. The owners are also so friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend coming here.

Hidden gem co-working space for El Cerrito and nearby residents who need a quiet place to do work or get some focus time in.

Often empty enough where I don't need the meeting rooms, but they do have two available if you need it. Good atmosphere, lighting, and temperature. Larger spaces available for team events too!

Free Coffee and snacks already pay for themselves for the admission price. High speed internet. Close to local amenities.

Owners are very nice and accommodating. You can even walk around the safe and nice weather neighborhood to clear your mind!

Like I said, a hidden gem!

JUKU is a complete gem! The owners are so kind and welcoming, and there are all kinds of lovely amenities. A great place to get some work done, and they even have private sound-proof rooms for virtual meetings. They also allow tutors and students to use the space. Really reasonable rates for what you get. What a great place for our neighborshood and community. Thank you JUKU!

We needed a space to relocate our daughter’s 3 year old birthday that could accommodate 12 toddlers and their parents on a rainy day, and with Shoko and Jordan’s help, the party was a total hit. We worked together to move the tables around, set up a ‘magical’ fort (under two of the tables) and brought some toys and crafts and everyone seemed to have a great time. So lucky to have this spot in our neighborhood and waaaay nicer than the city’s indoor facilities for a relatively comparable cost.

This family-owned business has given me the perfect workplace whenever I need to get out of the house. It’s quiet, homey, and friendly, with good Internet, strong coffee and snacks!

I’ve also started bringing my high-school-aged son to meet with his tutor after school. So far so great!

I haven’t checked out any of their events yet but I’m sure they’re a good time.
