Lots of stuff to buy here, even kiln things, xiem and mudtools. Pigments and a ton of glaze and clay selections. A bit pricier than online, but it’s a local business and they help a lot with selection. Every now and then they’ll have deals and those prices will dip below online prices which is nice.

Only thing I wish is that their firing services were a bit more standardized. The same amount of bisque firing can cost $25 or $35 depending on who checks you out - about a 30% variability based on my experience. Your best shot at avoiding this is just filling a shelf or kiln as much as you can, so that there’s less of a guessing.

Never had anything broken, and they’ll always fire everything together and under 2 weeks. Never had anything stolen either. Can’t say the same about other firing services around east bay - so even if it’s a little more expensive, I don’t mind.

Amazing place for supplies and tools if you are working with clay, making ceramics. We came here to do some research, two different people helped us, sharing information and resources generously. Easy parking, kind staff, great products (we got a few glazes and 25lns of clay) we will be back soon!

Nice section. Customer service great, as a newbie I had a lot of questions. Best of all Jessica carried a 25 lb block of clay all the way to my car which was parked way down the block!

Omg, the people that work here are the nicest group of people you have ever met. I went with my wife, who is an artist and I struck up a conversation while I was waiting for her. The people that work there are really friendly and funny. V likable. Oh, and the store. And amazing variety and selection of all things related to clay and glazing. Huge variety. Check it out!

The staff here is incredibly helpful and kind and the selection is great. However they have an aggressive dog walking freely around the store. They welcome customer dogs into the store. My small dog was on a leash and we were minding our own business shopping when their dog came over and became agitated. Their dog continued to follow me around even after I picked up my dog and put him back in the car. It made me uncomfortable that their dog was walking around off leash with no staff members in sight to control it.

This is a great place for sculptors and potters. There’s all sorts of equipment both high end and less expensive, plus needed supplies like clay and glazes. I’m very glad to use this store for all my sculpture projects.

I love visiting this store. I'm a beginner potter hobbyist, so I'm often loaded with (dumb) questions. The friendly staff at this store is always eager, not just willing, to help answer my questions while offering advice of their own. Their selection of tools, glazes, raw materials, and clay is vast, and prices are also competitive with what I've seen on online stores. I've never purchased any heavy equipment or electronics, though. I've even gotten tips from regular customers that are shopping while I'm there... pros, not just beginners like me! Easy shop to recommend for people of any skill level.
