I recently went to the LA convention Center for a video game expo. I have included the photos of my experience. The only difficulty I had with the convention center was parking. I had to park across the street and down the block, which isn't really so bad, but it meant it would be difficult to get into the car any reason to get some thing or to drop off a purchase. It's a minor inconvenience. Once in the convention Center, I really enjoyed the professionalism of the staff there. I'm not sure if they were affiliated with the video game expo or with the convention center itself, but they were very professional and helpful. The convention center itself did not reek like some other convention centers that I've been to. It was clean and it smelled clean. A short walk up the stairs brought me into the main body of the hall that the expo was in. I didn't purchase any concessions but they seemed reasonably priced. The bathrooms were plentiful and rarely occupied. They were also clean and well-maintained, evidenced by the cleaning staff who were almost posted outside the door continuously cleaning the restrooms. I would definitely go back there again for another expo.

The Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) serves as a prominent venue for the Los Angeles Auto Show, one of the largest and most influential automotive exhibitions in the world. Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, the LACC boasts a sleek and modern design, with over 720,000 square feet of exhibit space, making it an ideal setting for showcasing the latest in automotive innovation.

The LACC opened its doors in 1971, designed to accommodate a wide range of events, from trade shows to conventions. Over the years, it has become a cornerstone of the city's event landscape, attracting millions of visitors annually. The venue underwent significant renovations in the early 2000s, enhancing its facilities and technology, which has further solidified its reputation as a premier destination for large-scale events.

The Los Angeles Auto Show, first held in 1907, has evolved into a key platform for both manufacturers and consumers, often serving as the launch site for new vehicles, innovative technologies, and design concepts. The show attracts major automakers from around the globe, and the LACC’s spacious halls allow for elaborate displays and interactive experiences that engage attendees.

The LACC is highly praised for its accessibility, located near major highways and public transportation, making it easy for visitors to attend events. Its state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced audio-visual systems and ample parking, enhance the overall experience for exhibitors and attendees alike. The venue's commitment to sustainability, including LEED certification, also reflects a modern approach to event management, appealing to eco-conscious exhibitors and visitors.

Beyond the auto show, the LACC hosts a diverse range of events, including the E3 Expo, Anime Expo, and various trade shows, conventions, and meetings. This versatility makes it a vital hub for business and entertainment in Los Angeles. The venue also accommodates concerts, corporate events, and public exhibitions, further showcasing its ability to adapt to different needs and audiences.

Los Angeles Convention Center not only enhances the experience of the Los Angeles Auto Show but also stands as a landmark for numerous significant events, contributing to the vibrant cultural and economic landscape of the city.

Large convention center in Los Angeles that hosts a myriad of events. We've attended the LA Auto Show since 2010 or so. We hadn't gone the last few years and were shocked when we went back in 2023 as they had very few auto makers in attendance - super underwhelming and a total DUD! 2024 was definitely better but certain makers like Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Mazda, and more were still not present.

Most people visit the auto show to cross-shop different vehicles in a less-pressure environment as most attending auto makers have their newer vehicles on display, available for people to touch, examine, and even test-drive. Some have games, presentations, and indoor tracks. The show also features custom, exotic, classic, motorsport, and off-road vehicles along with some light retail.

The auto show invites a few food trucks, which add some variety to the sparse dining options available at the convention center.

Still though, I wish their food options were better and parking ($30) was cheaper! Restrooms are available throughout but are a hit or miss in terms of cleanliness and being stocked. The halls are large and expansive but it's kind of a maze inside and I've always thought they do a poor job marking the place with directions.

I’ve worked several events here before - Fitness Expo, Anime Expo, etc, and the venue is enormous! Highly recommend coming here because there is always so much to see, they always go all out.
However, the food options are a little expensive, even if you eat outside the convention center. The parking does fill up fast and is a little expensive ($25-$30). However, if your hobby or passion is on display or you are foreign, I highly suggest paying a visit.

Was there for LA comic-con, and it was a fun time. Would give 5 stars, but there was no parking garage space left when we got there, so we had to park a couple of blocks away.

If you're driving from far away and arriving to an event late, beware that the parking garage could be full. We had to park near 12th and Hope, which isn't really that far, but still caused massive traffic and circles that weren't needed if somehow we knew garage was full.

Convention floor seems a bit small compared to san diego convention center, but they still pack a lot of stuff in there! Awesome times!!!

LA Auto Show it was better than last year but Lincoln, Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Hummer, were not there for display. Now the good thing is there was tests tracks for the electric vehicles.

On the plus side, it’s a spacious venue with a prime location, close to hotels, restaurants, and public transit. The staff is friendly and does a good job managing events, and the space itself is modern and well-equipped.

That said, there are some challenges. Parking can be a nightmare—especially for larger events—and it’s pricey. The venue can also feel pretty crowded during big conferences, making it difficult to move around or find quiet spots. It’s a solid option for big events, but just be prepared for the crowds and parking headaches. Overall, a decent experience, but I’d hope for a bit more convenience next time.

It is a wonderful place to have events. It is huge and is so convenient to go from one spot to another. The parking is great. The rooms are a great size any type of event you may have. There is access to go to each level and across to the other side… for instance going to Anime X was a great experience and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were also nice and cool and made one feel comfortable to sit in at a panel.
