Why don’t more people know about this place This is the most adorable art shop with amazing prices and cute collections of art projects, crafting supplies, and inspiration pieces hanging on the walls. We walked in and I immediately saw at least 4 projects I wanted to imitate, poised next to the crafting materials to do it. They’ve got everything from paper to paint to metal working to fabrics, plus a bunch more in between. Plus, if you’re completely overwhelmed by the variety of choice, like I was, you can purchase one of their hand-curated project kits to recreate a simple project they display in store. I chose a mushroom project made of twigs, acrylic paint and air-dry clay, and all the materials to make 2x as much as this photo was only $8.50.

Sharon behind the desk told us they’re planning on closing by Dec 8, meaning that a) TRAGEDY, and b) everything right now is 20% off in store. They’re so very sweet and creative, I’m already mourning their loss.

Wow! A surprisingly well stocked art supply store. Not big in square feet but the range and quality of supplies is amazing. Start to finish what you need for painting, drawing, pen and ink, book binding, stained glass and more. Hours open are brief, but well worth it for the depth and completeness.

A Work of Heart studio has been partnering with Miramonte Christian School for many years now to provide fabulous field trips for our students - both at the studio and at school. The owner is a delightful woman whose passion shines through every facet of her studio.

I am so grateful that I live in a city that has its very own mixed-media studio and shop. I've been a mixed-media artist for at least 20 years and Andrea has pretty much everything you could possibly want, and also brings amazing artists in to teach. I've been to lots of classes there. Parking is a little difficult so I always arrive early for my classes. Totally recommend!!!

This is probably a nice store - but i have been here twice now during opening times and it was not open. Owner was on brb once and other time no explanation at all. I would rather buy here then non-local - hence i take the time to drive here but if i cannot rely it is open then I will shop somewhere else.

After some years living close to the store today finally I had the opportunity to visit it.
The store is awesome, stuff for all the cool crafts. I didn’t buy to much because I don’t have specific project now, but I am sure I will come back, I hope come back to take a workshop in person. Thank you for have such a nice and organized place.

i set up a small work team fun event to do the abstract watercolor book party event, and it was perfect! Everyone had a nice time doing something a little different together. The studio has all the supplies and inspiration you need, and the instructor was warm and helpful. I'll be looking for excuses to come back here! There's a storefront here too that has an amazing selection of pens, papers, craft supplies.

Zentangle class was super fun, easy to follow - we really made beautiful art. The store is adorable! It has everything an artist might want. My favorite part are the drawers in the back left corner. Treasures of every kind imaginable lay within those drawers - gold angel wings, teeny-tiny glass jars, charms, buttons, so much stuff. Check this place out. Just walking in, I feel imaginative and creative.
