It’s a decent spot for events. I’ve done college fairs and comic cons and stuff here and it works well enough. I have issues with the layout and parking but that’s more because of the amount of people at these things probably.

Overview: Adam W. Herbert University Center is a very stunning structure. Two floors, a ballroom, and several open floor plans for a small gathering. The Adam W Herbert center can accommodate from classrooms to holding corporate events. What to know: Plenty of parking. There is parking around the back if it's needed. Very clean. The center has catering if you are in need. Elevators to get to the second floor. A lovely outside seating area overlooks a pond at the back of the building.

I have attended many conferences at the Herbert Center. The smaller rooms are good for presentations. The larger rooms are good for large presentations. My only complaint is the food is very bland. I usually get a Publix Deli lunch when I am attending something here

We chose the UNF University Center for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We had the ceremony on the patio overlooking the pond and it was absolutely perfect! The patio is covered so there was no concern if the weather was bad. Thankfully we had perfect weather. The cocktail hour was in the lobby of the building and then the reception in the Board of Trustees ballroom. We had around 140 guests and it was the perfect size. The bar and the buffet were in adjoining rooms and it gave us more space for seating and the dance floor. We made custom drapery for the ceiling to hide the drop ceiling and between that and the uplighting from UNF and our DJ, it completely transformed the room. We chose a buffet dinner which was absolutely delicious! So many people commented on how unexpectedly great the food was. If you book with UNF, I highly recommend the beef burgundy. The best part of having our wedding and reception at UNF was working with Pam Bush. Pam was amazing! She is seriously the most patient and sweetest lady ever. Pam worked with us from the very beginning to tour the space, sign contracts (that we ended up changing multiple times), pick food, and coordinating with me times to setup and take down our decorations. Pam was there for the rehearsal and all day for the wedding making sure everything went smoothly and in order. UNF’s University Center is a hidden gem for weddings!

We really enjoyed the Spanish Guitar concert at this venue! Andrew Blanch is a hugely talented guitarist, and Maria Eugenia Nieva has the voice of an angel.

Great venue. Ideal for conferences. Has both main stage / conference hall setup and individual meeting rooms. Also has good parking and best.of all, it's free.

Entry corridor / lobby is a bit narrow for large check in or for exhibit area.

This is my 2nd time DJing (@eandientertainmentjax) @ a UNF facility, but the 1st time in the conference area. The event was for the La Villa Vocal Foundation 2019 Banquet. This venue was excellent, and the food was very good. From a technical aspect, this room had an amazing amount of space, quality sound was already setup to the mic on stage, audio and video were easy to hook up to a computer, and electrical outlets were very convenient. First class staff, event ran like clockwork.
