Alhiser-Comer made us feel like part of the family. With a balance of professionalism and familiarity, they deliver on all fronts. My mom’s body was beautiful and life-like at the Viewing, and the flowers from Allen’s Flowers topped it off. From the Mortuary Viewing, to the Funeral Service at the church, and to the Graveside Burial at Miramar, Alhiser-Comer stood by us. We used this funeral home on January 7, 2025 when my father passed away. I am very happy with the service they provide. I highly recommend them. Everyone was very kind and took the time to explain everything about the service to us. They were very respectful and very communicative. The place is spacious and very clean. If you want a fast, good service at a good price, they are the best. Thank you all for your kindness and good service.

Nicole was incredible in helping me navigate the funeral arrangements from out of state. She and her sister were friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Thomas was our guide at the burial site and was very professional and caring. I highly recommend the Alhiser-Comer Mortuary!

The staff were really helpful, the service during the wake was perfect and they were attentive to details. Interment was well organized. I gave a two star because my Dad arrived late at the church for funeral mass. I was told that he should be at the church on or before 09:30AM January 28, 2025. All family and guests arrived the church at 9:00AM hoping we can still see our Dad for the last time. I was hoping for a perfect day but it did not happen. They arrived the church just on time for the 10:00 o'clock mass, it was a rushed. And most of all, we did not see our dad for the last time. Traffic is not a good excuse, the driver should anticipate that because traffic is always bad in highway 78 every morning, He was apologetic, but this won't change anything. I am still thinking of this bad experience to this day.

Losing my Mom was a hard thing to experience. So much emotion and so much to do. It could have been overwhelming if making funeral arrangements didn't go so smoothly as they did with Alhiser-Comer. They were wonderful in helping to navigate me through a difficult time. Meagan met with my husband and I. She was professional, kind and compassionate. There was no up-selling or anything. She, as well as the other staff members I encountered in the days ahead at the mortuary and at the graveside service, were so kind & helpful with everything. She even had suggestions and ideas I'd never thought of and were just what I wanted!
I most wholeheartedly recommend them if you have any needs like this. My Mother was buried at Rose Hills Cemetery (100 miles away) and Alhiser-Comer took her there and stayed till the very end to make sure all was done correctly by the cemetery. They even brought home the lovely casket flowers, per my request. I never thought of doing that and was so glad Megan told me ahead of time that that is something people sometimes do. They kept them refrigerated for me so I could wait and pick them up the following day, still looking lovely for the reception.

Having to plan a funeral while grieving for a loved one is a most difficult task. The team at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary could not be better. The service, compassion, and attention to detail truly honored my husband.

Megan was amazing to work with. She went way above and beyond for my family, showing compassion, kindness and respect. She was delicate as can be at this trying time. The entire staff, absolutely knows how to treat people at the time of their mourning.

Everything was seamless because of their vast experience and professionalism and I am so appreciative for Megan and her staff.
