Andrea is so incredibly sweet and has an amazing shop! I didn't realize you needed a reservation and was lucky that she was in and packing some orders. She asked if I was looking for anything in particular or just wanting to look at beautiful yarns and I replied that I wanted to admire yarn and she said I was in the right place. She showed me everything and walked me through each section telling me about the yarns and where they came from. She is so knowledgeable and kind, I wish I lived closer so I could just sit and knit there every week! Gorgeous, unique, hand-dyed yarns abound...so many things I wanted to buy...I'm still dreaming about this chartreuse chunky wool yarn...highly recommend coming here it is unlike any yarn shop I've been to. You not only have things for knit and crochet, but there is weaving, felting, cyanotype, dyeing your own yarns...Just a dream!

What an amazing experience! Andrea is such a wealth of knowledge and a friendly person. Her selection of yarns is truly amazing. You won't find your typical mass produced stuff here. Instead you will find local textiles that have been dyed for Amazing Yarns

The hand dyed yarns are beautiful, the space is gorgeous, and the focus on small-batch farm-to-skein yarn is carried out throughout the store. Andrea is lovely, and will gladly walk you around the store to give a sense of what's available. Even though it's off the beaten path, it's more than worth a visit!!

Found Amazing yarns while looking for local knitting classes and...OMG when I saw the website and yarns they sell 😱😱😱, incredible beauties and all domestic, made in USA yarns, wool, mohair, alpaca, cashmere!! I immediately booked my class and like the other reviews, Andrea knows her stuff, the space is pure magic ... can’t wait for my next classes. 😍😍😍
