It’s been a pleasure to take Ricks class as a new student to acting. I felt as ease and eager to learn every time I stepped into the class. He takes the time to make sure you understand the process and breaks it down into digestible parts in order for you as the student to not be overwhelmed with new information. It’s been fun and I cant wait to continue my development.

I have been to several different acting schools in NYC and I must say this one is of great quality. I studied with Rick Imberman for some years and really learned a lot that has been helpful to my acting career. If you're seeking a challenge or simply looking to explore something new, I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this program.

Walking into Rick's class with absolutely no acting background, my first day was filled with nerves as I had no idea what to expect. However, right from the beginning, Rick cultivates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, allowing everyone in the class to ease into the course.

The methodology taught in the class might occasionally call for moments of self-reflection to understand why and when you might struggle with your character. Yet, if you place your trust in the process and remain open-minded throughout the experience, you can emerge from this class with a revitalized sense of self.

Personally, I left this course with not only a newfound appreciation for the dedication required in acting but also a deeper understanding of myself that I'm forever grateful for.

Rick is by far the most compassionate teacher I have ever know. I've never encountered a smarter , more aware acting coach then he. His skill and approach far surpasses any teaching I've had since being in the business. His methods and friendship have changed my life. I am an artist thanks to him. He has absorbed , worked and been taught by the best and he himself is a true artist! If your desire as an actor, is to have excellent understanding of your character and the work, and to hold these parts in your heart forever, Rick is the only Acting teacher to work with, whether you are in NYC or Long Island. I only wish I could convince him to Act with me.

I have been a student of Rick's for about two years and would recommend his class above others for both experienced and beginning actors. Rick creates a safe space for his students and an atmosphere of respect, collaboration and compassion. Rick is strong and honest but with no judgments and her is very generous with his time and attention. I've also found the other students to be supportive, respectful and fun to work with. Concerning Covid, Rick takes every necessary precaution and I felt very safe in the classroom environment.
