Such a great private class with Amy! I booked this experience as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, and it did not disappoint. Amy was amazing, very kind and very knowledgeable! I loved how she took us through why we were doing certain techniques, not just how we did them. Then we took turns hand sculpting plates and throwing on the wheel. We get to take home 3-4 pieces each! Looking back at the photos even I’m impressed that these were done by beginners. If you’re looking for a pottery class in the Sacramento area I highly recommend Amy and her beautiful studio!

I took two pottery lessons with Amy, one to focus on my throwing method and the second to brush up on my trimming skills. I really liked Amy's teaching style, she has a great way of making you feel at ease and comfortable. She was great at giving both encouragement and practical advice. The focused 1:1 attention was sooo much more helpful to me in growing my pottery skills than going to a big group class.
