We absolutely love coming here to walk! There's always lots of wildlife and the river is beautiful. The main trails are well kept for walking or running, or you can walk through the trees on any of the wildlife trails. There are bridges to cross, a couple of playgrounds to play on, and a Veterans Memorial Park to check out as well. The Nature Center is also a great place to take your kids. We love Animas Park! ❤

This park is generally really nice. They still have a problem with hobos and drunks sleeping in the park or just generally being gross but it's gotten a LOT better over the years. The nature trails always have a ton of deer, geese, and ducks all over. Beware of the nature trails in the early spring or late fall because they also have skunks running around.

This is a very nice park that the city of Farmington has worked to develop. Kudos to the city fathers and Civic leaders who have made this park and walking trail a reality. You can spend many enjoyable hours here walking on the trails and enjoying the beautiful Animas River. Highly recommended.
