Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the museum’s commitment to preserving and showcasing the heritage of this vibrant desert town. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, providing a comprehensive timeline that spans from the area’s early Native American inhabitants to the bustling community it is today. Each display is informative yet accessible, catering to both history enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.

My three-hour visit with Mary was fantastic! I came to Apple Valley in November of 1946 at age 6 after my mother, Betsy, married John Barry, editor and publisher of the then-"Victor Press" newspaper. Sharing stories with Mary was most delightful. She really knows the history of the Valley. For those seriously interested in delving into the really good historical stuff, this Museum is a MUST to visit. REMEMBER: Enjpy life! It has an expiration date on this side of Heaven.?

Very cool place to learn about the history of apple valley. Man running the museum was very friendly and passionate about telling the history of apple valley. Would highly recommend to learn more about our town and where we came from. It is in a tough area to see off highway 18 but is right across the street from Civic center.
