So many perfectly restored planes!!! Plan to stay a few hours and immerse yourself in the displays and experiences of military flight. I was in awe of how the airman defended our country from the air. Climbing and crawling inside B17 was absolutely unbelievable - the option to flys in it would be terrifying for me, but so thrilling for others. The plane has been lovingly taken care of and appears to be in its original combat ready state. Docents were more than happy to walk and talk with you. Highly recommend this museum for all ages. You can't climb in most of the planes, but can walk right up to them.

I really enjoyed my time here for the 'Wheels & Wings' car show. There were TONs of knowledgeable people to answer questions. There are tons of artifacts, engines and more importantly and most interesting aircraft.
Could easily spend a couple of hours if you take your time to read and view each of the pieces they have available.

Thank you to all involved with the CAF in keeping history alive! I believe history is important to remember.
I took a flight in the B17G Sentimental Journey this past Saturday, and it was an absolutely amazing experience!! I had a blast!
Also had the honor to meet a passenger on the flight prior to our's, Colonel Pearson, a 100 year old former B17 pilot. A living legend, sharp in mind, able in body, and just smiling away- so glad he had an opportunity to take a flight, and to see him sitting in the pilot's seat once again as he toured the cockpit
Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!

Went for the B-25 Mitchell Maid In The Shade flight experience during there stop in Peterborough Ontario, Canada on August 4, 2024, had an absolutely fantastic experience, would like to thank all the volunteers whom make this possible from the museum, would also like to thank our guide Lana, she was very kind, funny, and helpful during our flight experience, she ensured we were as comfortable as possible, safe, and she even took some pictures for us, this was definitely a once in a lifetime experience, a very smooth and seamless operation all the way from checking in to exiting the aircraft, I would highly recommend this to any aircraft or aviation lover, experience history, experience 3700 horsepower, experience 3.75 million rivets, experience time travel back into the 1940’s, experience a memory, experience a life changing flight, experience a fun trip for a very reasonable cost, thanks again to all those involved with this flight experience, simply top notch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing historical aircraft from World War I to the Vietnam War. Also some interactive engine models that are absolutely fascinating. And the volunteers are top notch - knowledgeable and helpful. Couldn't be more impressed.

The Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum is an incredible site for preserved military equipment. Everyone involved in maintaining the museum and planes are amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. My wife and I booked a flight with their B-17G “Sentimental Journey”. Every step of the process was easy with no hassle at all. I truly can’t emphasize enough that everyone involved with the museum and flight were very professional, knowledgeable and kind. The flight itself was a once in a lifetime experience for me (although I may book another flight in the future). This location is the only one I am aware of in the continental United States that allows you to fly in a genuine B-17G. If you or a family member have any interest in flying in any of the planes in their lineup, I would highly encourage you to seize the opportunity to do so. The individuals that keep this museum and the planes running are truly some of the most passionate people I have met and I recommend stopping by for a visit any chance you can get! Thank you to everyone involved with the museum and flight, my visit will be one I remember for the rest of my life.

We were staying in Apache Junction and were looking for things to do. We enjoy air museums so went over for a look.
Very nice museum but smaller than a lot we have been to. They have a lot of detail on the history of planes involved in warfare. They also have planes that are flyable and for a fee you can arrange to go up in one.

Outstanding museum. Great if you’re an avid aviation enthusiast. You can walk right up to all the planes on display and really look into them and see the small details you normally can’t see when the aircraft are behind ropes. I really enjoyed looking at the hinge mechanisms on all the naval aircraft. The folding wing hardware has always fascinated me.

You are encouraged by the staff to walk out into the restoration hangar and can go inside and crawl around in the bomber in there. Additionally you can go out onto the ramp and look at the aircraft out there as well.
