Booked a hot deal tee time through Golf Now and it rained that day. Got to the course and it was closed. There was an employee in the proshop still there, and they went above and beyond to accommodate the circumstance by rescheduling the tee time for the following weekend. The course was vastly better than the last time I played it a couple of years ago. They are really trying to turn this place around. Bunkers playable, fairways pretty good, greens pretty good. Pace of play played at just over 4 hours with a full tee sheet, with a junior tournament going out in the afternoon. Keep up the great work Arizona Golf Resort!!!! Will be back soon.

Prices are relative to other courses in the area and haven't had much of a problem getting tee times, even in the winter months. Has a problem with standing water from the irrigation in places (just take a free drop from the water) but everything else is good. Friendly staff both on the course and clubhouse. 4 hour round.

Enjoyed a round of golf with my cousin from Kansas. We were teamed with two great gentlemen, Charlie and Bob, snowbirds from South Dakota. Of course we got a few pictures of the Ponderosa II which you go by on Hole 1 and 9.

I've been here a few times to attend Buds n Bikinis. Very cleaned well maintained resort. The pool is always crystal clear and the staff is always friendly, even when surrounded by loud stoners. Love how clean and pretty the bathrooms inside are.

This is absolutely the WORST golf course I have ever played. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would . DO NOT PLAY HERE!!! IT IS AN ABSOLUTE TRAIN WRECK!!! Where do I start? The tee boxes have barely any grass on them and are definitely not level at all. The so called fairways have an abundance of barren ground and the parts that do have grass are full of piles of dead grass from being mowed that were never picked up. It looks like they mow them once a week if that. There is so much dried grass on parts of the fairways you could bail hay. Other parts are so muddy and wet if you tried to drive through it the cart would get stuck. The palm trees and eucalyptus trees around the course are completely overgrown and haven’t been trimmed in years. Many of the greens have bare spots, fungus or both. The ponds throughout the course are completely scummy where even the Creature from the Black Lagoon would not inhabit these waters. The on course bathrooms if you could call them that, looked like dilapidated shacks and were full of spiders with dead flies caught in their webs spun everywhere. Did I mention the golf carts? Old gas powered ones with torn seats and exposed foam. Real luxury. Sand trap rakes? The heads are so loose they almost fall off. How this place remains open is beyond me. They should not be charging people to play here, they should be paying people to play here with the caveat, play at your own risk. Quite the fall from grace from what it used to be. ?

Absolutely stunning venue! In a pinch for a last-minute wedding ceremony location, we discovered the Arizona Golf Resort, and what a find it was. Despite the scorching 110° weather, the staff went above and beyond to create a cozy, romantic atmosphere in their elegant ballroom foyer. The inclusion of thoughtful details like readily available water bottles, in that heat, added to the experience. With the backdrop of elegant fountains and captivating architecture, our photos turned out truly magical. Enormous gratitude to the team for crafting the perfect setting for our special day!

If there is golf courses in Hell those would be better! Worst golf course I've ever played, and I've played about 300! Clubhouse toilet not attached to the floor almost killed myself getting off it. Got charged double the price for a small bucket of balls than it was supposed to be. I was told by clubhouse guy that he reduced the price of the round of golf to make up for the overcharge. That was a total lie. Hit 8 balls of the bucket on range before heavy duty sprinklers came and and soak me from head to toe with all my clubs. Tee boxes and fairways usually had zero grass or just a tiny amount on them, tee boxes were usually not evenly flat. Course smelled like you are playing next to a open sewer. I'll have to burn my golf clothes now because I'll probably never get that smell out of them. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! BETTER TO DONATE YOUR MONEY TO A CHARITY OR A HOMELESS PERSON THAN PLAY GOLF HERE!
