It's a fascinating piece of history you can actually climb aboard and explore.
Here's what makes it special:
* USS Razorback: This Balao-class submarine served in WWII and was even present in Tokyo Bay during the Japanese surrender. You can experience what life was like for the crew by going inside.
* USS Hoga: This tugboat is a National Historic Landmark, famous for its heroic actions during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
* Museum Exhibits: Learn even more about naval history through exhibits featuring artifacts and information about other significant vessels.

Nice museum, guided tour to go inside the submarine, and it is a great experience when I’m the only tourist at that time. This submarine was given to Turkey after retired in the US navy, and that’s why you can see the Turkish flag.

If you like Naval history, you should definitely check out this submarine museum in Little Rock. This is a rare chance to see a WW2 submarine from the inside. Plan for it to take about an hour. Tours start at the top of the hour.

This museum is located in the North Little Rock Riverfront Park and is floating in the Arkansas River. Here you will find a museum, the USS Razorback (SS 394) WW2 era submarine, and the USS Hoga (YT 146) WW2 era tugboat that served at Pearl Harbor.

You can get a guided tour of the USS Razorback and tour the USS Hoga on your own. This was a great experience for any military or WW2 history buff.

The sub is in excellent condition and the tour guides were very informative. It’s amazing how a submarine is built. Enjoy a walk thru on a historic vessel that saw lots of war action.

We stumbled across this museum while staying in Little Rock for a day and we are so glad we did! You can tour the inside of a decommissioned submarine and see how the sailors actually lived, as well a tugboat - and both of them played roles in WWII. It was a really neat stop!
