As we were wedding planning, one of the things on our to-do list was choosing our first dance song. To avoid looking like we were Napolean Dynamite and Deb at their high school dance on our wedding day, we contacted the studio and went in for a trial lesson. It was one of the best decisions we could have made. We got so much more than just a choreographed dance. They taught us a variety of basic dance styles; helped us choreograph a dance routine to two songs and even gave us the music to give to our DJ. On top of that, they helped us navigate the dance floor setup so that our wedding photographer would get the best photos of us. They are very thoughtful and detailed in their craft. All of the instructors and students are fun, patient and kind. They have a fun sense of community. We worked mostly with Devany and Tawni, and they really made our dance a successful one on our special day. We will definitely be returning for group classes.

Really great teachers, very welcoming environment, everyone super friendly! In beginner classes its really great that you get a chance to learn some fun facts about each dance style in addition to learning the basics. My fiance and I joined for wedding 1st dance classes, but we love it so much we are considering extending our stay for future lessons. Recommend checking them out!

From the first time I walked into the studio, I felt that I found a very special place. I was welcomed warmly by all the staff, who are kind, positive, energetic and well trained! Their varied skills and levels of the teachers make for a very well rounded staff who are eager to teach new and continuing dancers. Everyone who works there dances, even Nathan at the front desk!
My dance journey at Arthur Murray has been amazing, challenging and fun. I have had the pleasure of dancing with every instructor ( both in Elk Grove and Stockton) and I can tell you that every instructor is knowledgeable, patient, positive, and inspiring! I am constantly being challenged and learning new moves! So, if you want to learn to dance in a supportive, joyful atmosphere, come join this amazing, positive community where Rule number 1 is HAVE FUN!

Can't say enough good things about this studio! The owners are wonderful and the instructors are amazing! They are super friendly and make you feel so comfortable about learning something new. We can actually dance!!! Who knew? Go and try it out....you will have a great time!
