Such a cute little museum! It’s worth stopping by if you’re in the area. Like others have said it’s small, but packed with information. You can learn a lot about the city’s history and see some interesting pictures as well.

Great deal of information for such a small museum! 🙂 Loved reminiscing over the old photos, and I was particularly happy to see a picture of the trampolines in the beach sand, located behind The Hangout. I thought I might have imagined them!

The museum is small bit beautiful. The lady working that day offered us a bottled water. It was a nice visit.

Cute little free museum. You probably only need 20 minutes here. Free entry. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating: They weren't open when advertised. I had to make a number of calls and finally got someone to open it up about an hour and a half after it was supposed to be open.

Local history. The museum has rotating exhibits and changes about quarterly. Right now, it's an exhibit of transportation that formed Bay County - Bay Line [Railway, Bus, Boat] and International Paper. Next exhibit will be a miniature train exhibit during the holidays. Old cameras, pottery, irons, glassware and more. Also records of "First Families" are available at the museum. Local historical, Marlene Womack, is often present to discuss her books and to sell her books. Come once, come often.
